I was thinking the same thing - what the eff was up with the cameraman being so obsessed with Ronnie's asscheek?
Disturbing.
Ronnie looks fuggin epic in these though, dry as shit.
Not sure weather this or 98 is better conditioned - definatley looks drier here, but it may just be the quality of the media.

Ronnie was for sure big and has one of the best backs of all time, but i am i the only one who thinks he single handedly ruined bbing, yes he won 8 MR O's, back in 98 and 99 he looked good, but after that everything changed. along came the era of the bloated gut. and it is not going anywhere now. Thanks Ronnie, dont hate for just telling the truth

I know what you mean. GMV did the recording. I asked why the video was taken from this angle and he said they weren't allowed to do the recording from the front where the true Arnold Classic cameras were for the contest. So there is unseen footage of this contest. I don't know why that footage hasn't been released yet.

yes dorian to some degree, but ronnie took it way overboard, even in the late 90's (most) bbers didnt seem to have a gut. but then came along ronnie and changed everything changed (and not for the best) now you look at a lineup and 9 out of 10 have a distended and bloated gut
