Development of Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis after Anabolic Steroid Abuse

In summary, we present the first series of FSGS in bodybuilders who abused AASs. These patients may present with either asymptomatic proteinuria or full nephrotic syndrome and heterogeneous histologic variants of FSGS. Although these patients responded well to discontinuation of AAS use, weight loss, and RAS blockade, others may progress to ESRD. Elevated lean body mass and long-term AAS abuse should be added to the list of causes of secondary FSGS.

Pictured bb progressed to ESRD

He used to speak a lot louder and deeper. Used to see and hear him everyday. Now his teeth look shifted, like he has a big underbite and his eyes are super squinty now.

He looks "meek" now. I'm surprised they can still find useable veins to do dialysis.. it's been years now.

Never fails - these BB types cannot stop lying no matter what.

Tom starts by saying hes 185...at 5-8"...looks like a coathanger under a shirt with a head

making big money in apt management...dosent have all his teeth....

Moves on to actually claim he only used a little test etc...and was walking around at 310 because of "training"

Cant make the link to kidney damage to the gear and life...blaming mystery blood conditions...

Just outright horseshit, even totally removed and sworn off it all cant tell the truth.

PS - put on the 2020 deadpool

You're told you have kidney disease from bodybuilding drugs, BMI, BP, etc. Your also told how to save your kidneys and you ignore the Dr's advices.  ::)

I think you were to first to figure out who this idiot was. Bigorexia is real!

His steroid cycle

http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=293963.0

If this is true, this cycle would have had very litte effect in his kidneys. The GH listed is about the average run give or take.

That sky high high blood pressure i'm sure he had at 318lbs and Chad's diuretic played a major role too.

He sure is confident walking around a show weighing 185. He has matured beyond bodybuilding and could care less. Looks very happy being rich and putting his energy into his business. Good for him.

They are not dose specific in the study but conclude;

The dramatic improvement in renal parameters (including complete remission of proteinuria) achieved by stopping AASs, decreasing exercise, losing weight, and renin-angiotensin system (RAS) blockade, without resorting to immunosuppressive therapy, followed by relapse of nephrotic-range proteinuria and worsening of renal function after resumption of a full bodybuilding regimen strongly supports a secondary form of FSGS. We propose that abuse of AASs causes a secondary form of FSGS both by increasing lean body mass and by potential direct toxic effects on glomeruli.[/I]

So they include the weight gain from the drugs as a cause along with protein intake. It's a great bodybuilding specific study including biopsies as proof.

Glad Shawn was direct and you can tell he wasn’t buying it, it had EVERYTHING to do with what he was doing. He was in his early 30’s at the time of all his health issues too

So exercise is also bad for the kidneys?

That's ridiculous, was lying about that probably too.

It's just test 500-1500mg and some deca along, later a little winstrol.
