A Prowler. You put weights on it and push it. Halo is more or less correct.

These things are really becoming popular.  With my luck I would snap my Achilles tendon pushing that thing.

On a similar topic these two huge power lifter cops down the block from me were taking turns pulling their jeep with a rope for a workout.  I couldn't stop laughing watching the show.

I am using it -- VERY VERY SLOWLY -- to come back from an achilles tendon rupture 8 months ago. I was doing loaded pulls and carries just fine. What did me in was 40 yard sprints.

I have come very close to buying a few times, but can't figure out where to use it.  If I f'd up the cul de sac, I'd hear about it.

I have a really long driveway and only a few houses on my street. I have dragged the weighted sled around the cul de sac a few times and gotten a few strange looks (and a few wolf-whistles from the women on the street).

I also have a nice incline up that I am going to have to navigate very carefully while I am slowly building up strength in my calf.

We have to pay for our own street repair, so I'd hear it from the neighbors.  Wondering if the town would get pissed if they caught me on the turf field.... ;D

Saw your name as last post in this thread and am disappointed to not see black and white photo of guy in leopard tights pulling the 50's version made out of plumbing and engine blocks.

Well, since I am in NH and have a tow hitch on my truck and the thing does literally have skis, I can see where you are going with this.

Just another gimmick device. If it had more mass appeal, Tony Little would be doing an infomercial for it.

Good point...need to get a Gazelle too...

Just go and push a wheel barrow around a building site and earn some money in the process.

We have one of those as well. Load it up with about 400lbs of plates, set up some cones spaced about 5ft apart for 40-50 yards and weave up and back.

As long as you and your boyfriend don't make too much noise while bouncing up and down on the shafts while holding hands I doubt they will never even know.
