Im not sure I believe in these body types, what about the ecto who regularly stuffs his face with 5000 calories a day and weighs 260 pounds of lard even though he has a high metabolism and gets labeled an endo even though he is an ecto but just a greedy fucker.
yes i tink 8 % of people have VERY simlar amount of thyroi out put and have very similar metboli rats.
total muscle mass, acitivy level, and food intake are the number one dictators of how you look. not this "body type" non sense
i do think that some things can effect your body though... childhood obesity leads more to "endomoorph" since that means MUCH more fat cells, probably less sensitive to insulin, and probably hormonal imbalances as well. childhood poverty and or or high activity level would mean more "ectomorph" ...less fat cells super sensitive to insulin.... high activity level and a blanced diet as kid would be the "meso"...since this would mean positive hormones, foundation of muscle mass, insulin sensitivity, small number of fat cells... ect ect ect
