Taking a rest day whenever needed. I'm thinking its time for a change. I'm considering combining some body parts and adding a day or 2 a week strictly for cardio. Any ideas??
i would suggest :
Day 1 Chest /back 12 sets pro muscle group and superset back and chest. Cardio direct after weight training if possible. Run outside running 3 miles fast alternate with 5 mile longer slower runs.
Day2 OFF
Day3 legs(12 sets) (jump rope for cardio)
Day4OFF
Day5 Shoulders(12 sets/ Tri sets)/arms 10 sets/ supersets( Cardio running (3-5 miles)
WEEKEND OFF or with long walks
i enjoy some form of cardio every day and you will adapt to it. If you have not got a bike get one. cycle to work.
