So far they are crushing it, Aaron Judge, and stanton are hitting moonshots almost nightly now. Juan Soto is fun to watch and a beast of a player as well overall. The pitching is holding together. I’m a little worried there,,bullpen is solid. .cole soon to be back back. It should be a nice season and a great chance to get pretty far postseason and I hope the World Series .

Soto has been a fantastic influence on the team. He's a cocky kid but you can tell he loves the game.
Adding him and Verdugo, two guys that don't strike out a lot has really helped the lineup.

....Of course the game I went to so far this year was freezing, Trevino hit a HR and they never scored another run but left a small army on the bases >:(

Laugh at Yankee fans who said Judge is cooked. LOL.

Soto/Judge combo elite, success predicated on Volpe continued development, Rizzo rebound, and Torres getting his head out of his ass.

Not sure what I'd look for at midseason to improve at this point.  Mason Miller is reportedly available, but he will cost a ton, and one thing NY excels at is identifying power arms that they make into plus relievers, so they may not want to pay the prospect price there.

Can't stand Bregman, but he could be a massive upgrade if Houston continues to shit the bed.

Totally.

Looked 500 ft, but I think was 463.

His last 10 AB:

Walk
HR
Double (Hit fence)
Double
Double
Walk
Walk
Double
Fly out (410 ft against wall)
Double (Hit fence)

One of the local sports radio stations here in the NYC area were saying earlier in the that Soto should swing out of the strike zone because Judge wasn't getting it done.

Same mid-day hosts who hung up, yes you heard correctly, hung up on Carl Banks on his weekly radio spot that because he told him Kevon Thibodeaux was better then they thought he was. He explained to them he was not just a pash rusher. He dropped into coverage and had to hold the edge against the run in the system Wink was running.

....I don't listen to their mid-day show anymore.

Is that that guy Sal, or Chris?  I saw that quote about Soto - it was moronic.  I think same guy was criticizing Soto for getting on base with walks.

Yeah, Sal and his partner.

As with most social Yankee fans, we are enjoying this bludgeoning that they are on right now. Unreal just tonight against the Royals 888 feet of home runs between judge in Stanton to beasts and then have Soto. They have three of the best power hitting players in the game right now in the same lineup.

It is really cool.

Right now feels like the late 90s teams in the respect that you expect them to win or compete every game.

Judge being an alien right now is masking some potential issues, mostly weakness at 1B/3B and C.

Some tweaks at midseason and it should be a very fun fall.

Yankees have been in free fall. Just got swept for the first time this year by the Reds.

They are awful right now.

Two elite hitters and a bunch of meh.

Which could be fine if the "meh" guys played to that, and not below it.

Pitching was due for an adjustment, there's no way that was going to continue.

Need and impact bat (infielder), bullpen arm, possibly a starter.

They could make a few trades next month for an upgrade.

Just comes down to whether they want to trade Spencer Jones.

Yesterday was nice.

If they win today, they would have been one pitch away from a sweep, and everyone can relax.
