Polish mountain bike free rider Szymon Godziek perfectly executed a stunning “tsunami flip” during the Red Bull District Ride 2014 competition in Nuremberg, Germany. The run is believe to be the first time the trick has been successfully landed during competition.

The story behind that wreck was this:  

The pro rider, Adam Brayton, crashed further up the track fairly hard and couldn’t finish his run so this bloke volunteered to take his bike back to the pits. Instead of pushing back up the steep, stupidly muddy track he decided to ride it to the bottom...Most likely drunk (Like most other spectators this far into the day) and encouraged by the crowd, he tried to show off/ride fast…

I use to mountain bike in all types of weather even snow. Great workout and nothing beats riding in the woods on trails. I never understood the Evel Knievel types that use zero caution going down hills filled with trees and rocks.

For some reason that one doesn't seem to bother me. I guess it's because I read that he took the bike from a guy that was racing that had crashed. He was a spectator and snatched up the bike and got hurt due to his stupid actions. Don't know if that's true or not.

The other fail videos I can't watch. When I was a kid I would have thought it was funny, these days I can feel the pain when I see people's heads smashing on concrete so I don't watch that crap anymore.

It's absolutely true.  He wasn't riding the bike to the bottom to help either, he was being a dick.  I would have got him a good time down :)
