Title: NFL - Robert Griffin III loses again
Post by: arce1988 on September 22, 2013, 01:23:54 PM
  Loses again.

Robert Griffin III went head-first instead of sliding, so when the ball popped out it was a fumble.

Aldrick Robinson had a touchdown catch in his hands, but he couldn't quite maintain possession as he hit the ground in the end zone.

Thanks to the turf, the Detroit Lions have ended 74 years of road failure against the Washington Redskins.

Detroit beat Washington 27-20 Sunday with big days from Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson and those two fourth-quarter Redskins bobbles, the kinds of breaks that had eluded Detroit (2-1) in the nation's capital since Franklin Delano Roosevelt lived on Pennsylvania Avenue.

What else could he do?

He knows how good Cousins is.  He's seen him him practice.

He knew in that playoff game last year - he goes out after collapsing a 14 point lead, Cousins comes in and wins, people talk.
He knew he wasn't ready to come back yet - he didn't even want Cousins playing in preseason lol.

If Cousins was 3-0 right now, after that monster "comeback" campaign on TV, RG3 would be this year's Derrick Rose.  "Why won't he play?" is all we'd here.  There would be an instant QB controversy, and WASH might actually trade RG3, making him one of the biggest douchebag trade pics and NFL history, and really tarnishing his name.

And since NFL players have more clout than coaches in some cities, he was allowed to bully his way back into the lineup before he was ready.

The NFC East is looks very weak this year. 9 and 7 could end up winning that division.

Cowboys looked really solid today. Their only loss was a close game with the undefeated Chiefs.

Next week they will fix this ship's course.  RGIII played great today but a bunch of stupid mistakes cost them the game!

It is the defense, that is why they are losing. Through three games they have given up the third most yards in NFL history. RG3 has made a lot of mistakes but it is mostly the defenses falut.

Looks like him and Krapernick are nothing special once defenses had an offseason to game plan the option.

Russel Wilson is a very good QB.

once they get film on players, they're pretty good at adapting the defenses to it.

And once these flashy QBs take 6 or 8 games of hits, their speed drops dramatically.

RBs have a career average of 2.57 years.... and they get to flex & brace... they KNOW they're going to get hit.  QBS are blindsided or hit after passing, much more vulnerable in many positions.  AND you want to let a guy built like an RG3 go out there and expose himself to linebackers?  LOL at least RBs are built thick as shit to take hits.... RG3 is a fragile dude... he's Zane getting smashed and blindsided by Ruhl's all night.

After watching today's highlights... RG3 was just plain slow.  Rolling outta the pocket, those dudes are catching him!  last year, that play action, he would be 2 yards ahead of the guy and gracefully get outta bounds.  He's just slow right now.  And fumbling when sliding?  He's not ready to be back.

He'll win next week, and suddenly it'll be everyone saying "told ya RG3 was awesome!" but he's average at best.

that's not all RG13 fault's....lol...he's partly to blame....no quarterback has a chance when your fucking defense is giving away 500yards/game
