I was in he 5th row at that fight.  You could hear when Tyson hit Bruno.  By the way that fight was partially fixed.  And Ken Norton was built great

I knew Tyson years ago when he came to LV for some publicity purposes. They were shooting photos on the roof of the hotel and we got invited up to spend some time but that didn't work out too well cause he was unindated by the photographer and publicity people so just sat back and talked to the little people and enjoyed all the excitement surrounding Mike.

I think that the photographer was actually Herb RItts and my friend managed to spend a few minutes with Tyson after the shoot and Tyson pointed to one of his guys and made a fist and the guy came over and gave him an official boxing glove that Tyson took and signed and handed it over to my friend for talking about something that he felt was real important enough to hold his complete interest for about five minutes.

Hey, Keith,,,, that was Mark.

only me that is awesome that you were in fifth row.  How was the fight partially fixed, it looked so one sided how Tyson just dominated Bruno.

jt

I can't remember the exact specifics but I was sitting with a bunch of casino owners and executives.  The big bet was that the fight was not going to last 5 or 6 rounds (can't remember)  If the fight didn't last that long the casinos would have lost a ton of money.  Once that round was over the owners high-fived each other and left.  The next round Tyson won.  We sat there wondering why they left and it was my uncle who told me about the bets and then he said watch this is the last round.

onlyme was not a boxer.

No not close but I was a guest of honor at that event which was the induction dinner of Ali, Lamotta, Eder Joffre(?) and a couple others into the World Boxing Hall of Fame in Los Angeles.  That does remind that Eddie Futch came up to me and telling me how much he enjoyed watching me box.  I wen along with it the whole time not wanting to tell him he had me mixed up with someone else.  Everyone there including Ali loved the size of my fist

Roy looked pretty solid at Super Middleweight,  James Toney at Heavyweight is probably the worst.
