Frank was never the same after the car accident. Has to be slow to be doing a cliff rappel with a bicep not fully healed. The Dr told him six months minimum and he was still doing physical therapy. Now he won't able to train at all.

Go4, I was never on that CLIFFHNGER set but I highly doubt that Stallone was ever in any real danger of falling further than six feet down and landing on an well cushioned, injury-preventing mat.Hey Stunt, in the behind the scenes footage for Cliffhanger Stallone did a lot of the stunts, he had harnesses and nets below him while hanging from the cliffs of the Italian Alps, but obviously they had professional mountain climbers doing the majority of the the stuff. I was just joking responding back the that other poster saying that he shouldn't be hanging off cliffs. I give props to Tom Cruise and Jackie Chan, those dudes do all their own stunts, especially Chan, that guy doesn't get enough credit.
In 90% of the time in which a possible injury could occur, they would use me or a more qualified stunt double who is made up to look like Stallone because it could cost millions (possibly) if the star was to get hurt and unable to appear in front of a rolling camera until he/she recovered.
All those details are usually always covered in the star's contrct unless things have changed recently.
And if the stunt double gets hurt or dies, you just call up the second on set stunt double .... and the camera keeps on rolling.
Mt best friend of many years ago was one of the top stuntmen in the movie production universe and died during the filming of 'The Sword and the Sorceror', but the real star remained intact and production continued.

It certainly could cause a dvt. They are likely are aware of his risk because the same Dr did his bicep. Heparin was likely used to reduce this risk during surgery but sounds to me like this happened after (and he doesn't look off in that last video).

Actually it's hard to say because it is not uncommon post surgery. Usually DVT's occurs in older patients so could certainly act as a contributory factor.

I should have said once a torn bicep is healed it's stronger than before and reverse anything wouldn't be a poor choice.

I never heard about this. So are you saying he tore the same distal tendon again(in a different spot), or that the stitch job wasn't good and came loose?
When he tore his quad he put too much torque on the bi and it snapped in the same spot. It was way too early to be repelling!

Dude has a great physique, but lacks common sense.
I tore my bicep completely off. Not a partial tear. It rolled up to my shoulder. I didn't attempt to lift anything remotely heavy for around 5 months. The first pull up I did put fear into me. I thought it would rip off again. The way the surgeon explained it to me since he operated when the rupture was fresh the tendon would grow back into the bone in time. He secured it in place with metal anchors to the spot it was torn off. He said every week delayed in the repair results in the odds of success going down. I still foolishly deadlift with an alternate grip. I should be doing double over hand with a hook grip but that hurts by thumbs terrible.

Now they can get the bicep in a better position so it's not as noticeable. They just put his bicep back into position after the second tear where the button area pulled away from the drilled hole.

So it was basically impossible to reattach his tear.
So, the tech was there, it was just that Dorians tear was too severe?
That technique wasn't around when Dorian did his I don't believe, but it could have been repaired better than it was(if it was) after waiting so long. If it ever happens to any of you, go to the ortho immediately, get the mri confirmed, and get the surgery scheduled and done asap. They will prioritize you as the level of success declines as you wait.
BTW, watching that vid made me cringe knowing that was done to me while I was unconscious. Thank God for surgeons....they may cost a lot, but they're worth it!
Thankfully i'm old now and do not lift that heavy weights anymore, so i should be safe from these injuries!

I still use the 6-8 rep protocol but always leave 1 or 2 in the tank- the extra rep seems to be where all the injuries or joint pain originate. I stick to the basics and never do movements that cause any kind of joint pain. I also completely stopped weight training my legs and stick to sprinting- either running or cycling. My legs actually have gotten bigger by doing this and my spine doesn’t get beaten up in the process.

Completely agree. Knee extensions are a sure fire way to wreck the knee tendons. Another lesser known source of knee injury is the standing calf raise with locked legs.
I do sprints on a road bike as well as a cycling ergometer at my gym. Its all about watts. A true sprint is no more than 10-12 seconds That puts you at the peak of the creatine phosphate energy phase. 10 seconds on, 1-2 minutes easy times 5-6 reps will have you crawling. If you extend the sprint to 20-30 seconds ( a short interval actually) you target the lactic acid phase and your legs will literally balloon up after 3 sets of 20-30 seconds on, 40-60 seconds off.

Calum will fade quickly from social media once his hair goes. He got very morose when he lost his muscle mass during his injury period. He sounded almost suicidal. But at least he knew he could rebuild the mass once he was better. From hair loss he'll never recover.

Mentally I don't think he has the capacity to take going bald. Everything he has seems to be based on what he looks like, when he went off for a few months and lost size he seemed suicidal. He needs lessons from Big Ro and some enlightenment on the emptiness of vanity. There is more to life than hair.
He was so depressed and suicidal he was adviced to get a poppy by a psychologist ( true story ). By New Years he had a meltdown lasted a full week without taking a shower and posted a kilometric rant on social media.
He will forever wear a baseball cap and eventually hang himself .
This is the problem when people rely almost solely on their looks and body for their income.

No - because they never were singled out for their looks, so they never thought twice about them. Some of the most insecure people are those we get noticed for a certain trait. I had a female friend that was about a 9/10 in the looks department. Constantly being told how beautiful she was. In private she was a wreck- constantly obsessing about if she was getting a wrinkle, if her hair was off, clothes were right, etc. It really wasn't fun being around her.

He's not hiding anything either. He has his locks and hairline on full display, no cover up. Which in itself means hes not crying over it like everyone in here
I'd throw him on some finasteride though. Considering his value and content is directly linked to his looks

He just needs to read this thread! A few key points;
-Wear proper clothing when riding his motorcycles. Or better yet sell them.
-Risk avoidance is key. Avoid activities which can lead to severe bodily harm. Examples -cliff repelling and 405lb curls.
-Proper hair care. Avoid drugs mentioned by taco and ww. Also monthly therapy calls with taco would be helpful.
-Avoid recreational drugs. The deleted food shopping video is an example of bad behavior under the influence.

Always ripped but in the recent leg video Looks like he's losing size to make his atrophied leg look less smaller.
He should shave his head just like Aaron Clark did. Not sure Aaron's fan base went down because of it.

Have u seen Aaron Clarke's head. It's like it's growing sideways. Terrible head to have to shave. Havnt seen mogers with even a slightly shaved head so no idea if he could pull it off. But going the route of doing the Michael Bolton is deff not helping.

just get a hair transplant while he has donor hair in the back - plus his hair is long in the back so the scar will not show. yes his image is his world. complete the hair transplant while he can
he is a decent dude, just a crazy aussie - if you have played rugby or been around aussies his behavior is pretty spot on - not shocking at all
sad his father ended up in a wheel chair - i hope calum has a good career and does not follow up in his father's footsteps. i am not a fan of wishing ill will to people -
