Dexter is so full of shit.  Heath might be true.  I ran a 4.4 in highschool and there were only two guys faster than that.
I ran track in high school.  4.0 would be a Usain Bolt time.

I would honestly bet my life savings $65.87 that this midget couldn't run a 40 under 4.9.

Just pulled this off wikipedia.

The NFL runs official 40 yard dash times that are timed by computers who go by a runners movement, here are some of the fastest times recorded.

   1. Darrell Green (4.09 @ Redskins Training Camp)
   2. DeAngelo Hall (4.15 @ Virgina Tech Pro-Day, indoor track)[3]
   3. Brian Witherspoon (4.18 @ Alabama Pro-Day)
   4. Deion Sanders (4.21 @ NFL Combine)?
   5. Patrick Boyce (4.21 @ Manhattan Collegen Career Day)
   6. Erik Burg (4.21 @ St. Cloud State University Pro Day)
   7. Donté Stallworth (4.22 @ 2003 Tennessee Pro Day)
   8. Michael Bennett (4.23 @ University of Wisconsin Pro Day & NFL Combine )
   9. Willie Parker (4.23 @ 2004 North Carolina Pro Day)
  10. Chris Johnson (4.24 @ NFL Combine)
  11. Fabian Washington (4.25 @ 2005 NFL Combine)
  12. Randy Moss (4.25 @ Marshall University)
  13. Rondel Menendez (4.25 @ University of Eastern Kentucky Pro-Day 1995)
  14. Champ Bailey (4.28 @ 1999 NFL Combine)
  15. Jerome Mathis (4.28 @ 2005 NFL Combine)
  16. Willis McGahee (4.28 @ Miami)
  17. DeSean Jackson (4.29 @ NFL Combine)
  18. Yamon Figurs (4.30 @ 2007 NFL Combine)
  19. Darren McFadden (4.33 @ NFL Combine)
  20. Reggie Bush (4.33 @ University of Southern California at Pro Day 2006)

There is no way those lower times are legit. Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans recorded the fastest electronically timed 40 ever at the NFL combine with 4.24.

At the NFL Scouting Combine, Johnson finished first overall in the 40-yard dash with an official 4.24-second time. This is the fastest time ever recorded at the NFL Combine since using electronic timing, and was the fastest ever recorded for a running back. Johnson was also fourth highest among running backs in the vertical jump with a 35-inch jump. His 10-foot, 10-inch broad jump was third best among the running backs.

People always vastly exxagerate their 40 times. In fact, I would say that it might be the one thing that is exxagerated even more than bench press. Your average NFL running back runs the 40 in about 4.5 to 4.6. The average DB is probably about 4.4 to 4.45.

::) yes i'm a hater because i don't believe there are 5 random guys on the internet who either ran or currently run as fast as the fastest RB's in the NFL, hahaha, same old stuff, "just because your slow and weak doesn't mean there aren't guys who bench press 800 for 20 and run 2.2 40's, shit there's 26 guys in my gym who can do that".

40yards is 36.4m

I wonder what a top sprinter would cover that time in. Seems we have a lot of sprionters online. I could run 100m in 11.2secs when i was much lighter and playing sports A LOT and there were 2 guys faster than me who actually sprionted had spikes etc

that 1.5 seconds between me and a world class sprinter would be over 15M

a huge amount. Those claiming times sub 4.5 need to be seriously questioned

Found this online regarding Usain Bolt. "At 40 yards of the actual Olympic 100m race, Bolt was at 4.35 or 4.36. His reaction time was .165. My understanding is that the combine 40 is timed from the runner’s actual start rather than from a gun. So if this were in an NFL combine setting, that reaction time would be gone and he’d be at 4.19."

Therefore, Dexter and Usain Bolt are exactly the same speed!!

Some of us used to be decent athletes.  These stats are far from 2.2 and 800 for 20.
Like I said a time like Dexter's is called into serious question, that's an Usain Bolt time.

There is football speed and there is track speed, some have both.  Just because you can run fast doesn't mean you'll make it to the NFL.

I have no reason not to believe it. But my question is with those times why waste it on bodybuilding and not develop the skills to go with those times.

the 40's used to measure your explosive speed, not your overall speed.  some guys in the nfl might be able to beat Bolt in the 40, but after that it's game over for them.

but seriously, dexter talking about his 40 time like it's no big deal is hilarious.  that turd would need a respirator 20 yards in.

in this months Flex Dexter claims that he ran the 40 in 4.19 and could dunk a basketball when he was younger and Heath claims he ran the 40 in 4.31, what do you guys think?

Ha-ha, bb's and their lies.  A 4.19 40 would be elite speed.  Thats world class speed.  Jackson is so full of shit it's coming out of his ears.  Health might have ran a 4.3, but it's not likely.  Dextor Jackson has world class speed, but he chose to become a pro retard bodybuilder.
