Author Topic: Tom Hardy as Bane in the Dark Knight Rises. (Read 15568 times)

Batman and robin ( 1997 ) had good bane, but the whole movie is a joke, i read somewhere that they will try to make this batman more realistic and more serious movie overall in comparation to "Batman And Robin" with jacked up Bane.
But i think they will for sure use CGI to polish the fella a bit more, this is a joke really, a drunk in bane costume, maybe he can act well but really he needs more lean mass, much more.

Batman and Robin is the worst Batman movie of them all. George Clooney was on Letterman's show (or maybe Jay Leno's, not sure) and when asked if he'd ever do a gay role, said, "Haven't you seen Batman and Robin?"

That movie made Bane look like a zombie, but then, everything was wrong in it.

Yeah, I believe he played "Manny" the American Indian. Yeah, Brotherhood of The Wolf was good, didn't like the dubbing---but Monica Belucci worked with her husband.

Yeah the movie has a lot of dumb scenes, i laughed my ass of when batman gets traped by plants and gets his PINK razor machine gadget cuts the plant, and gets free ( awesome gadget sound effects )

I was just going to say, I thought this dude was in great shape in that warrior movie, and just assumed that he would transition that over to the Batman flick, but I guess not

actually this is true....Hollywood does not like to cast really big guys such as bodybuilders because men feel emasculated.....they have to be a cartoon type like Arnold, Stallone, Van Damme..people you can cheer for but can't relate to

It s a fact guys on steroids would ruin the politically corectness, and would send a "bad message" to youths and males etc.

Also, i agree that men feel neutered to watch a movie with their gf where actors are way manlier, bigger than them, doesnt sell well. So bodies have to be "realistic", easily achievable for the mortals. Everything is taken into consideration to maximize profits and appeal to the largest audience possible.
