And yes, I have experienced deja vu from time to time but not from smell. From phrases and expressions. Like I heard it said somewhare before in the same place with the same person. Weird stuff.

The smell of hot pavement in the summer gives me a flash back to being at Disney but when I was a kid, not so much when I went last year ,for some reason.

Happens all the time. the place in the brain that recognizes scents in closely linked to where we store memories, so when you want to cretate a memory that lasts forever, ...take a deep whiff.

Every time I smell 'Love's Baby Soft', ...memories of 10th grade come flooding back to me.

I know this is gross, but i've farted and then had de ja vue after getting a wiff..... like a couple of days ago I went to a dinner where they served barbecued beef, potato salad, cole slaw and some bean mix that tore me up.   As I was driving home I kept ripping some big stinkies.   The whole time I was having flashbacks to this party my wife and I went to when we were in college where I got hammered on homemade wine we made and brought to the party.   That time I was sitting in a Denny's waiting for breakfast at like 3 AM ripping seat vibrators.  Something about the eggs, pancakes and fart smell stuck in my memory and was brought back by those beans. 

It was weird as hell.....
