Funerals are pretty much like reunions and anyone that has attended one knows this. It doesn't all have to be a "downer". You often reconnect with people you haven't seen in ages....and have a few good laughs and commiserate.

So Obama does what 80% of people would do. Big deal.  ::)

Yep.

Mandela would want people to celebrate his life, not mourn his death. Besides, Obama's speech knocked it out the park.

You're 100% right, Mandela is the LAST person who would have wanted to have a cold, somber funeral...
