I'd much prefer Warren to Klobuchar.

Well, Klobuchar has a long ways to go before she is a contender in this election. Warren and Sanders could end up splitting the vote. Biden trips over his words so often, I'm beginning to think he has diminished capacity. Buttigieg is intelligent and speaks well. But, he lacks experience. I like Tom Steyer. He could be a one trick pony though. I can't wait for the primaries to begin. This should shake out the possible winners from the losers.

Anyone who votes for Pocohontas Warren to be Commander in Chief of the US military is totally detached from reality and hates the country

I don't trust Pete.  He's very smart, but there is something I don't like.  Is there a term for gays equivalent to "uncle tom" for blacks?  That's the kind of the vibe I get.

Warren has a meltdown anytime she gets called out for blatant lies. Biden does the same.

The only one with control of themselves is Bernie. I think even against Trump he could survive the one liners and do better than those other two.

None of them are going to win, though.

If Bernie was genuine, he'd have run independent after the Democrats rigged the primary.  He got in line.

He's just a politician.

Who, I believe, has authored a total of three things that have passed the floor in 29 years, one being the renaming of a post office.

The conspiracy theory that's floating around is that Biden and Warren came to some sort of agreement to snipe Bernie's campaign with this allegation a few days before Iowa.

Basically Warrren realized she wasn't going to win the nomination and was angling for a VP spot on Biden's ticket.

This sounds right.

I think I finally can see what Bloomberg is thinking. He’s just setting up a ground game and subsequently will hand it over to Biden once the latter gets the nomination. Frankly, I’m not sure how this works as far as campaign finance rules go but it seems like a backdoor way to make a massive donation to the Democratic Party.

Plus you have the impeachment thing in the background and Warren and Bernie are both senators so there is that factor as well. They potentially find themselves tied up to some extent with that whole cluster-f.

But man, what a way to just rub dog sh*t in the faces of the Bernie supporters. You take this cold blooded angle to sink his campaign and then reward the person who did it with a VP spot. And then you expect them to show up and vote with her on the ticket?

Just ruthless.

It speaks volumes about politics and politicians in general. They provide no good or service so they are left with coming up with schemes to keep themselves in power and extract money from the taxpayers.

It blew up in their faces in 2016 and if this scenario plays out, will probably do so again.  I've been a Bernie guy since he was an unknown congressman but I'll do what I consider the right thing and still vote who I think best represents what I believe.  I won't sit it out if he gets fucked over again.

This is easy.

With President Trump you know what you get.

And 4 more years of that is infinitely better than 4 years of some unknown Democrat with retarded ideas

My 401K continues do well.  Much as it has since Sotero fixed the economy back in say 2010ish.  It would be nice if more than barely half of the country could reap the same benefits.

Now THIS is hilarious. You CAN send the govt MORE tax money if you wish so that those who do not have what you have soon will....or maybe you'll just end up with nothing like those who don't do what you do for a income. To say what you just said is totally absent of reality of this world we live in.

Do you really think that people who don't work and invest like you do should have what you do?

45% of the country doesn't have 401K's and I'd guess at a minimum, 92% of the 45% work.  Our govt should reward people that work.  All people that work.  Our bloated as fuck military budget could be better spent on the subject at hand.

Is it the governments responsibility to provide for people in retirement beyond SS that is already taken from our wages?

Not entirely.  Employers (specifically large corporations) should do their part as well.  As the decades go by, they pay less and less in taxes and share revenues less and less with employees.  Don't forget that one day you will be receiving a SS check as well.  Spare me the "there won't be SS by the time I retire" argument.

I mean this is just pulled out of your ass right? Haha.

Of that 45% that don't have investments....I'd bet it's closer to 8% actually work than 92%.

It's interesting that about 45% in the USA are also not paying ANY income tax, yet those of us paying the most tax are also saving the most.

Simply put, there will be a close correlation between those that work and those that save/invest. If you apply victimhood to this you are likely a socialist.

How does your 8% (certainly pulled from your ass) square up with unemployment rate of 3.5%?

Definitely send in extra money to the IRS so they can distribute it to those in need.  What's stopping you?  Walk the walk.  Live your Socialist philosophy.

On the subject of building wealth...

Get a job.  Get two jobs.  Whatever.

Live cheap.

If your employer doesn't have a 401k you can still open an IRA and contribute up to $6,000 per year ($7,000 for those 50 and over).

You can also still save and invest in tax efficient index funds if you have even more to invest.

Or you could buy rental real estate and make money that way.

Chinese immigrants come to America and sleep on rice sacks while building a business and become wealthy.

No excuses for lazy people who want Uncle Sugar to support them.

Give up the smartphone and 500 channel cable package and direct it to investment.  Put a TV antenna on the roof for $25.

Instead of a $200 cable/phone bill I have internet for $55/mo, a Tracfone for $8/mo and $25 TV antenna one time cost from eBay.

$63 vs. $200.

There's $130/mo or so there to save and invest.

Skip takeout and make beans and rice at home.  Make your own coffee in a $10 drip machine instead of buying at Dunkin.

Make some sacrifices today for a better tomorrow.

Read books on investing by John Bogle.  Go to Bogelheads.org.

People are responsible for themselves.  Americans don't owe anybody, anything, least of all immigrants legal or illegal.

The American Dream was never meant to be a nightmare for those that made it come true for themselves.
