IFBB North American Show
« on: March 24, 2006, 02:42:46 PM »
I'm just curious as to why this pro qualifier show is listed as an IFBB event and not an NPC event. Anyone?

Because it's an IFBB Amateur Event. It spans three countries. NPC is USA only. IFBB Amateur World's spans, well, the world.  :)

Now I'm more confused then ever.  >:( ;D

The North American was never an NPC show.  It is an international event with countries from the North American continent, so this fell under the I.F.B.B. jurisdiction.  Basically, the North American Show is a small version of the World Championships--only that with the North American show the overall winner is the one that gets a pro card.
