training music
« on: December 03, 2006, 01:34:53 PM »
I posted something similar on the general board. I'm looking to get some new tunes to train to.  I was thinking stuff like Metallica or Megadeth.  Any suggestions?  What are some good metallica songs?  I really have not listened to them in about 10 years...not at all since the black album was released, I've never even heard the whole black album but I do listen to some stuff off of and justice for all once in awhile while I train...anything else get you guys psyched while training?

Used to be the Pantera kinda guy but recently converted to Lil' Jon 8)

Training music and posing music are often confused. Sometimes I go to a local show, close my eye and just by the posing music I can tell how old the guy is... nit because enjoy it working out that it'll  be entertaining onstage 8)

they play some audio of the beachboys in the studio back in the day on the morning radio show here.  I don't know the whole story but one of thier fathers is the producer, maybe the one who went kinda nuts.  Anyway he's just a total dick to the guys...it's pretty amazing to listen too, he's totally ripping them the whole time and they're one of the biggest bands in the world at the time.

I Stand Alone

I got that one.  I used to listen to that one when i was going to take a test at school while I was stuck working in the shop a few years ago. Kinda a me againts the world thing...which is how I felt.  I listen to it now and it doesn't really have the same effect cause I'm out of the shop, kinda like mission accomplished, the song is cool but brings back alot of shitty memories so I can't really train to it.

Sometimes when I hear that death metal shit I think to myself. Might as well just record a machine gun firing into a crowd of people with a bass line.

I dig all music so I can appreciate some if it.
