Do you know anything about the people of Iran? While a portion of them have mixed with Arabs and are "brown", many are as white as any European (although typically with dark hair and eyes). My wife's mother was born in Iran, raised mostly in Europe, and was living in the states married to a white guy by the time my wife was born. Like I said, she's "Iranian" like you're Irish, Dave.

It's not her religion. Not her mother's, either. She has as negative a view towards Islam as I do... probably moreso since many of her relatives on her mother's side who were prominent when the Shah was in power lost everything (some their lives) when the muslim loonies took over in '79.
