Items for your Dogs or pets - on line shopping - links
« on: June 14, 2007, 05:12:55 PM »
I'm always curious where people do their on-line shopping

sure...there's always the obvious ones...

www.petco.com

www.petsmart.com

sometimes they're pretty expensive & not good a good value.

If you shop on-line & have good suggestions....please put up a link.

(food, toys, collars, beds, care, etc...)

I google, and find the best price if buying on line.

Locally Petsmart or Petco, and their is a local store I go to also.

If your dog loves to rip up stuffed animals go to Big Lots.  I occasionally will pick up a few knowing full well they are not going to last long.

And I just picked up a 5ft leash for Tad for $1!!  It's this bright green color  :P, but I don't think Tad is fashion conscious.   He has a shorter leash but that is not good for walks with the big dogs so I have been using one of the leather leashes on him,  the clasp is huge compared to him!  So this lighter weight one should work better.

For a buck, we'll give it a try!

Please please please be very careful to clean up the stuffing after the dogs are done playing/ chewing on the stuffed anaimals Flower or anybody else for that matter!

I would hate to see it get stuck in their digestive system and may end up killing their lifespan very short!

i think everybody knows this or uses commen sense but i would hate to hear it here on this board and i wouldn't have said something about it!

Yes, I clean it up, but good reminder.  :)  Once anything gets ripped I take it away.  I will look over and see a big pile of stuffing.    Except for that one time Addie ate the couch, no one else has ingested any material, just left it all over.

Bri likes to stand on the stuffies and gut them.

No, good catch.   And I have had one eat unedibles and get surgery so I should of put that in there myself.   :-\

I should of said, if you have a dog that likes to rip up but not eat stuffies, then Big Lots is good to get "disposable" ones to give under supervision.

Here's where i've been ordering flea/tick meds and just ordered heartworm meds but i had to have the vet fax the scrip.  No problems so far and cheaper than at the vet by a bunch.
