No, he had a muscle tear in both the triceps (one side) and in the lat muscles (same side) and that is very visible to me because I'm a f@cking expert on muscle tears. And what you would have noticed is the whole muscular balance and symmetry of his physique was kind of droopy.

Once you get a couple of injuries like that it just affects the way your body works when you are training. It doesn't work the same anymore. It's trying to overcompensate all of the time and you run the risk of sustaining injuries elsewhere, further along the chain.

Dorian is giving some of the best interviews the sport has had in years.  A very straight shooter, but also very intelligent and well reasoned.  His comments on many current aspects of the sport are right on the money!

guys like arnold,yates,gaspari,platz and afew others worked out so hard that other pros would watch in awe,on the sneak tip ofcoarse ;)arnold used to train a bodypart,back for instance,then grab a fresh bodybuilder just walking in the gym and train back again with the fresh guy and i heard hed bury that guy after he just banged out a 2 hour workout.haney stopped traing with gaspari in the early 80,s cause haney said richie was possesed cause of his mind boggling intensity,lee said after a month of trainin with richie he was burned out and had colds,headackes,achy joints and the whole business.i know lee beat richie onstage but it sure wasnt cause he trained harder,lee had better genetics and unfortunatly this is a geneticlly gifted mans game,providing the geneticlly gifted guy or women is doing all the other things needed to be a champ imo

I don't buy the "nerve pinching" thing... a pinched nerve will cause the entire muscle group to atrophy, not just a portion or a head of the muscle like in Ronnie's case...

he is just stating the obvious - as in he has tons of experience with it, he "gets it"...

muscle tears are generally the same way each time. a torn bicep is a torn bi, tri is a torn tri - etc etc..

no car wreck is the same
