Yea, but the year isn't 1980....Cold War is long over and the Russians for the most part are our allies.....Fuck the Russians. They need to stick with the Jawas and the Tuskin Raiders on Tatooine....

Cold War isn't over, it's recontextualized (and with lasting ramifications). Fukuyama's thesis of the triumph of liberal democracy was a bit premature.

The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff says the debt is the single greatest threat to national security so talking about balancing the budget is pretty valid.
