The Swiss have been doing these "protest blackouts " since the 1968 AFL championship where the move  "Heidi" mistakenly
got aired with 65 sec left .
FYI, the Raiders scored 2 TD's in the last min and with a historic comeback win NBC viewers missed .

you're anti them having a plan? i don't get the point of the post? you hate preparedness? Didn't like 750 people die in texas last year during a power outage because they were massively unprepared? is that preferable to a plan?

Planning?  It’s planning in the same way that one would watch their gas gauge nearing empty while driving past one gas station after another, while telling the passengers to be prepared to walk the rest of the way.

Switzerland produces less than 1/10 of a percent of greenhouse gas emissions, yet they are pursuing zero-carbon emissions – as if they will improve the climate.

They rely on renewable energy to the extent that their electricity production is insufficient, hence their plan.  Additionally, they will be shutting down their existing nuclear plants, further destabilizing their energy production.

The Netherlands also produces an inconsequential amount of GHG, yet their government is planning to limit how much nitrogen-based fertilizer farmers can use and how many livestock they can retain.  Thousands of farms are at risk of closing or reducing production.  They are the second largest agricultural producer in the world, so this scheme will make food more expensive in the west.

This is all first world virtue-signaling while the CCP laughs.

They just announced the first ever a net energy gain in a fusion reaction. Do you know what that means?

Means they got more energy out of the reaction than it took to cause it.

Likely a miniscule amount but it's a breakthrough.

You don't have to be an expert on technology to research this shit and use common sense.
