My Predictions:

LIGHTWEIGHTS - A VERY competitive class.
Without question, Claire should win the LW class and the Overall.  I love this woman.  Her conditioning is out of this world, and her dedication and love for BB is admirable and inspiring.  She is facing a tough lineup, but I do not know of a single amateur lightweight on Earth that can beat her.   8)
She's super shredded, and I just hope that does not work against her in this case....we've seen it before at Nationals, but I am hoping that she takes the whole show.
Barbara, Galina, and Tammy will also be in the Top 5 for sure.

MIDDLEWEIGHTS - Who knows...where did they all go?  I am surprised to see that Britt moved up to LHW.  Tina Chandler should do well, but this could be anyone's show.

LIGHT HEAVYS - Watch out for the showdown between Elena and Kristy for the Pro Card.  Both will look phenominal, Kristy should be shredded to the bone, striated glutes and all.   8)
Britt looks to be a LHW this year...it will be interesting to see how she's looks in the larger weight class, but she has some extremely tough competition.
Whoever wins the LHW will be in the running for the overall and could give Claire a run for her money lol.

HEAVYWEIGHTS - Michelle Neil and Bev Direnzo will be battling this one out, with Julia Stamper in the mix too.  I have seen pics of Julia and she looks fantastic...totally shredded!  Kris Murell will do well IF she comes in lean enough...she has a great shape.

It's gonna be a good one!  I wish I was gonna be in the mix, but I'll let Claire take this one, she deserves it.   ;)

Really too bad Britt moved up...that middle weight class could have been hers.  Who knows though from the recent pics I saw she looks great and her shape is just amazing.

My guess for middles is Yahaira who took second last year

Let's give it up for local Chi-Town girl Kirsten Haratyk hailing in the LIGHTWEIGHT class...

Holla, if you hear me, Kirsten!

Kirsten looks awesome and should definitely be Top 5.  This is a very competitive LW class, I wish I was gonna be in the mix cuz it's gonna be a great competition.  The LWs and the LHWs will be the two toughest classes IMO.

Kirsten is a bad bitch! You think you could take her to the hole, rip? She actually was one of the guest posers at my show. She's a very good diet guru among a few girls in the area.

hahaha  I wouldn't say that, but I'd love to give her a run for her money.   ;D

She's got a TOUGH field this year!!  Claire is unbeatable IMO, but I'll be cheering for Kirsten too!

Thanks sioux!!

I looked through the pics...Claire looks unbelieveable of course.   8)
Galina looks great too.  Barbara Fletcher is incredibly thick but her conditioning looks a bit off.  I'll try to get some more pics of Kirsten and some of the other girls up later today.  The LW class looks REALLY tough.

Kristy Hawkins is sportin the striated glutes.
And Kris Murell looks like she came in with pretty good conditioning.  She should do pretty well in the HWs.  But everyone's looking shredded!

I'm definitely IN for Nats next year.   ;D
I'm seriously considering the North Americans in September as well, but I haven't decided yet.

AZ, I checked a website with the preliminary schedule for next year's National shows, and it says November 21-22 in Atlanta.  But I am going to keep my fingers crossed, as I would LOVE for it to be in NY.  The only problem with NY is that I assume it would be at the Tribecca Performing Arts Center (where the Easterns was)...So everything would be spread out all over the city, there wouldn't be just ONE hotel where everyone stays.  At Team U, people stay everywhere, and you end up having to get cabs all over the city.  Junior Nats was confined to one host hotel where everyone stayed, and the show was right downstairs, so it was pretty cool.

Claire (LW) and Kristy (LHW) are my top picks for this show.  I haven't seen Elena (LHW) yet though.

Thanks to Gene for his always-amazing photography.

GO CLAIRE!!!!  Check those glutes!   :o

Elena vs. Kristy is going to be interesting.  Here's a shot of Kristy from the back, striated glutes and all.

Here are a couple of pics of Galina, who I think will place second in the LWs behind Claire.   8)

I was out of town all weekend and am just catching up on the Nationals pics, etc.

One thing I will say for sure is that I am crushed about Claire's placing in the LWs.  And pretty shocked.
I thought she was gonna take the whole thing.  After looking at the pics, I would say that the LW class was incredibly tough.  I thought Galina and Tammy both looked phenominal, but I would definitely definitely have Claire in the top 3.  Beni looked great, and I may be biased, but I would have still picked Claire to win.

Congrats to the winners and new IFBB Pros.

Kristy Hawkins looked phenominal and deserved the overall.  She is one of the most beautiful bigger FBBs around.  She came in hard as nails too, and interestingly, both she and Claire were prepped by Betty and Ed Pariso.  Yet Claire placed seventh out of 12.
