ITS FINE AT THE SMALLER SHOWS BUT NOT AT THE OLYMPIA

AND DO YOU HAVE TO QUALIFY FOR IT THE SAME WAY YOU QUALIFY FOR THE OLYMPIA??  TOP 5 AT THE IRONMAN,ARNOLD OR  TOP 3 AT SMALLER SHOWS     HOW IS THAT GONNA WORK?

Am I the only one who sees this as a good idea?  Maybe Rocco Jones would come out of retirment for a show like this.

Well after the fucking rimjob they gave Dennis Wolf in 2007, and the fact many people are pissed off at the result, they need to try something different in 2008.

However this is very stupid, the Olympia is the best of the best. You know Lee has no hope of being let back in now because he'd win it easily which wouldn't be good for the IFBB.

I dont know if its a good idea.  The higher weight class will for sure win the overall and the light MR. O title will hold little prestige.  They tried it before and was not at all exciting.

Yeah maybe like the other guy said, at the smaller shows it could be OK maybe  :-\

I'm all for the smaller guys getting a fair look in but Hmmmmm i don't know about this, It may mean that guys that are around the 210-215 mark will try and drop down instead of bringing themselves up......ahhhhhhh i don't like this at all, why cant they just judge this shit fairy in the first place and let the best bodybuilder win on the night....nah that will never happen will it ::).

I guess we will just have to wait and see how they go about it............. :P

maybe Mark Dugdale....

but i don`t think that more than 2-3 athletes will qualify for the 2008 Mr. Olympia which can start in this category.
So, i think it will be an open "pro-Event" for Pros who can do the class to 202 lbs. But the question is, if this category will be interesting at a show like the Mr. Olympia.
The Big One is the one which will be held on Saturday......

Allow me to clarify:

The  MR. OLYMPIA will not have a 202 class...

There will be a pro 202 show AT the Olympia wekend (held at the EXPO)....

will the pro 202 Contest be an invitational-Contest ? or open for all Pros who can compete up to 202 lbs. ?

I believe it will be comprised of the top 3 from the 4 202/under shows...that could change though...
