We won the trade war a few days after we started it.  It was very easy.  Just like Trump said it would be.

BUT, if we want to be credible, we need to be fair and objective.

These latest economic numbers show a roaring economy and rapid rise in the avg wage.
Trump's been in office now for 18 mos, so he gets credit for this.

Let me add that this trend has been going this way for the past 8 years.
So, it started under  Obama and Trump kept it going and even added to it.

I don't see anything that Trump did other than inherit an economy in recovery and not fuck it up ...yet

they won't stop trading but they will retaliate by putting tariffs on your exports. so while your steel industry may benefit other export industries will suffer. tariffs and trade barriers are the practice of communist states. economic protectionism has been proven not to work.

plus it's an attack on freedom(that thing you apparently hold so dear and have so much of!) freedom of choice. private enterprises are basically being forced to buy domestically.
