Walking the beach is much harder than tourist realize. It is funny you see them show up and start jogging down the beach thinking they are going to run somewhere in the sand. After about 100 yards they realize it is 100X harder and they slow to a walk every time. Insulin is a good way to kill yourself talking about health are you kidding and you are drinking whiskey
It is difficult. I used to try running on the beach when i lived on the coast. It's challenging.
I live in the mountains now and hike 5-10 miles every weekend with elevation changes up to 3000-feet. It's difficult but i like it, plus it's not so hot. it was low 70's yesterday at my house and mid 50's up on the mountain.
We rescued 4 college kids in the mountains on Sunday evening, they made it halfway up an aggressive trail and got lost. No cell phone service up there. No maps, no water, no food. Morons.
I've taken insulin off and on for years. It's not a big deal. No need to use it anymore, i'm not trying to grow any larger, just stay healthy and lean.
Neither is whiskey. I drink it once or twice a month.
