5' 7" sounds about right. He wears aggressive lifts, I remember reading about a shoe maker that worked with him. He mention that between the outside and inside lifts he could give Sly about 3" of extra height on average.

A friend who had worked staff security says that Stallone is around 5'7-5'8. A little moody at times. Ken Norton (died a few months ago) was set to play Apollo Creed in the first Rocky movie. Stallone said no, because Norton made him look like a little kid.

Its funny out in public with arnold, sly has his moon boots on and is nearly the same height, in the ex movies and escape plan he's obviously alot shorter.

THIS. There have been pictures of him with his 5'9" wife in Italy shopping for shoes. He's standing closer to the camera (which makes you appear taller), has on dress shoes with big heels, is standing straight as a wall, while his 5'9" wife is wearing FLAT sandals, and is leaning and YET, she is STILL TALLER THAN HIM. He was about 5'8", MAYBE 5'8.5" or so at his peak. Today at almost 70 years old, he's a bit less. All those tall sighting are him with custom made lifts, giving him minimum 3".
Also, watch Copland from 1997, where Ray Liotta (who is 6'0" max) has at least 4" on him.

that one he wears is a 'custom' model they made just for him in 60mm. I've tried on a couple replicas and i dunno, the 47mm models are big enough.. actually, my 44mm pam is just fine.
panerai's are simple and minimalistic. my only complaint would be the second hands are a bit difficult to tell time with when doing bootcamps and i forget my stopwatch or my stopwatch's battery dies. in which case i have to use my GMT2, because my uboat's dial is confusing as hell to read. lol.
anyways... no matter if stallone is a dick or has little man complex (he even had them make a panerai that's 13mm larger than anybody elses in the world!)... if he wears a panerai, he's ok by me.
