countdown to 1000 dollars in my savings account

It is not always how much you make, but how much you spend.

Even when i was in High School making $5.15 per hour, i was able to save a few hundred here and there.

I have always been good with money, i have never been rich, but i have more money invested or saved than any of my friends who make much more than i do. I just learned how to live within my means a long time ago. I live in a modest house and drive a 97 Camry, while my friends live in 5 bedroom houses and drive Corvettes and BMW's. The sad part is, just about every one of them has asked me for money in last 3 years. I paid my best friend's mortgage for 3 months, in exchange i drove his Z06 Corvette until he got back on his feet.

I can live well and pay all my bills off of less than 30k a year if i choose. I have never believed in debt, i paid cash for everything I ever owned except my house.

I worked 40+ hours a week unloading pallets at an Albertson's warehouse my senior year in high school.

laugh at me all you want-this is big for me
by the end of the week i will have 1000 dollars, possibly more if we get bonuses this year, in my savings account.

i have 860 dollars in there now...i hope to deposit 200 dollars in there this week.
my goal 1 day is to have 5 thousand in checking and 50 grand in savings at the same time

ill take the city bus every now and then, and ill only wear a helmut if im doing rock climbing-but if youre referring to me as being mentally challenged and riding the short bus and wearing a protective helmut, then no, youre way way off base
