The Octagon is a Zuffa trademark; UFC cages are 8 sided. Non UFC cages, for the most part, are hexagonal. Yes, the UFC would probably sue an organization for using an 8 sided cage.

Strikeforce, King of the Cage, Good ol Cage Rage etc, Organizations all over the World etc uses Cages, just not Octagons.
