How wide? Personally, I find that a shoulder-width grip, give or take one hand's width, is best for all exercises. Any wider or narrower and either my strength goes to shit or it hurts my joints
i might try wider stance for push ups (i dont do anything else for chest)
Do you realise how wide Ruhl and Coleman ? Ruhl is wide than a fucking plane, like litteraly twice as wide as HeathUltra wide grip bench is a recipe for disaster for an average/narrow dude
I used to bench super wide.... I just haven't done it in a while.Trust me; I won't be doing any 1 rep max's with the wide grip
Serge Nubret
shortens the range of motion. I always train with a medium grip. The thinking in these Days was to take the triceps out of the exercise. You canīt take front delts out of it or triceps. Basic anatomy. Itīs like Chins. wide grip wide lats...Bollocks. Look At Yates with his "undergrip" Rows.
I'm gonna use all grip widths.... But obviously go much lighter if I'm using a wide, or a really narrow gripIf nothing else; changing the grips keeps things from getting boring
It boils down to the individual i think. If a very wide grip hurts your shoulders then bring it in. If not then i say incorporate it. I've done wide grip before but my strength goes down considerably.
Yeah... less tricep activity & and more outer pec fiber recruitment
Outer pec?
maybe it's why Ruhl developed a steinberger inner chest
