Crowd never really gave much two shits about him either. That is the worst thing to have happen I think.

That photo doesn't do Paul Roma justice.  Met him several times and I could honestly argue that he possessed one of the Top Three bodies of all time in the wrestling world.  Dude was lazy as fuck though.  Bicep routine was always the same.  10 sets of 12 reps with a 60 lb fixed straight bar.  60lbs.  You see the size of those arms?  Dude could have easily gotten 25 reps every set, but always stopped at 12. 

He did box but said he didn't like getting hit in the face.  (duh)

Had the best dropkick I've ever seen.

I just watched a recnet shoot interview with Paul Roma and all I could say is....Jesus...
The guy is bitter and full of sour grapes with nothing good to say about anyone. He even shot down Ricky Steamboat....who the hell shoots down Ricky Steamboat ??? Steamboat was regarded as probably the nicest guy in the wrestling business.

If you want to feel better, listen to ANY of Magnum TA's interviews.

Roma had nothing to gain and would never go anywhere in wrestling, and he is now bitter.
Terry Allen was poised to be the next flagship champion of the NWA, he was making great money, his career was tragically cut short, and he has only POSITIVE things to say about the business and life!!

Magnum TA has the MOST reason to be bitter over how things panned out for him. Yet, he is immensely positive about his time in wrestling and life in general. That's class, and the mark of a real man and genuinely good human being.

Yes sir, according to Nikita Koloff and a few others who knew him well, he owns several business and is a multi-millionaire. He also works for a security company on the side which he partially owns too.
Love his feuds with Tully Blanchard back in 1985-1986.

he has a different build early days thick from football days ,,he dieted and got the total package look later..
