I smirk at these kids when I see them in clubs.  They're funny.  You can just smell the insecurity on them.

Reminds me of 5 years ago, when you'd see twelve kids in one room all wearing shirts that read "INDEPENDENT".

You can only buy them in sizes small to s-medium. Tough guy stare and bad ass attitude sold separately.

The 3x's fit me well. I'm sure it's easy for most guys here to put off a medium-large so you have tons of stuff to chose from. Some of the designs are more subtle and look a lot better than walking around in jordan  ::) shit all the time.

the general rule with any AFFLICTION/TAPOUT clothing is that if you wear one of their shirts, in public, and are not a sponsered fighter then you are officially a tool/douchebag

Excellent statements, all.

Is there any way the brand can be saved?  Given that I'm in the over-35 club myself, it's very weird to see slightly overweight, middle-aged men like myself wearing that stuff.  I mean, seriously, what MAN pays 80 bucks for a t-shirt??

Jordan "shit" > affliction shirts

trust me my friend, only two types of people wear affliction shirts- pro fighters or tools- no exceptions, you are either one or the other

Ed Hardy is just as gay.

yes, very much so

however, ed hardy is for a higher class of tools/douchebags where as TAPOUT/Affliction is for the middle of the road douchebag/tool and at the bottom rung is abercrombie/hollister

I think it's more insecure to make fun of what guys at clubs wear, they are not trying to please bb site member's fashion preferences, they are trying to get pussy and if the shirt helps them then they should were it :) Were I live at least, its kinda of corny to wear them even in the groups of dudes that do, its like an inside joke, but most of the people who do wear them have a good enough physique and don't only wear affliction at all social outings. Now wearing TapOut, and even affliction to Hooters on a UFC fight night is pretty much the gayest tool thing you can do.
As for the guy talking about the shirt sizes, maybe all the guys you see wearing them can actually fill out a large cause they go up to like 2XXL.
Considering all the millionaires on this board you would not expect anyone to complain about the prices ::), usually nice looking name brand shit is expensive.

Any guy who has such little game that he's relying on a shirt to help him get laid...well, he wouldn't know what to do with the pussy even if it *was* put on a plate for him.

I agree relying on a shirt is retarded but you gotta wear what makes you feel comftrable and confident be it affliction or other.

I bet the lonely guy sitting against the wall looking at the affliction wearing dude with all the bitches around him in envy and calling him a tool gets even less pussy though.

Even if you're not good-looking, you've got a good physique, so that's all you need, man.  You work hard to look good, so you deserve to reap the rewards!

Yeah, Thor's good-lookin' enough to wear anything...except Affliction, that is! haha

With looks and physique, the women are able to overlook his t-shirt. ;)

Let me try that shit, though, and my old, fat ass would be toast.

affliction, ed hardy and all those stupid designs with skulls or the word pain or kill is real rediculious, you look like a real shitbag with them and usually is worn by those who havent figured out if they like men or women and they might even consider becoming trannies themselves.

the worst is when you see older guys with these shirts

Not all of them have these dumbass designes. But I always laugh when I see the 170lb skinny fat hindu looking fucker rocking one with blood red letters on fight night.

There's a club here in Tampa, "The Dallas Bull", where you see a lot of these roided up middle age fucks who just came from the gym first...these shirts should have non tacky cool looking designs not "tough guy" symbols and and be worn by younger buit fellas...I dont see the big deal whe they are worn by the right people...I used to completely hate on these guys too but hating on other mens atire makes you a duche with some jelousy and staring problems.

You guys forgot the Xtreme Couture shirts.  But anyway, everyone is jumping on this style bandwagon.  You seen similar shirts at similar prices made by names you've probably never heard of before.  It's a fad and will probably be replaced by another at some time.  I personally don't see anything wrong with the shirts unless like it's said in musculamy's quote you're walking around thinking the "shirt" is making you "look" tough.   There are many who carry the look off very well, both small and large.  I say small too because of all the guys who wore the "Metal" shirts back in the 80's and seeing them in these tee's just reminds me of that error.  But like I said, if you're walking around acting like your an MMA fighter because you're wearing this shirt...I agree...you're a tool.   I think Mike carries this style shirt off well, even at 45 (yeah, he's 45) but I will say he's questioned whether or not he should buy/wear such because of his age.  I think if he was average size or appeared old in looks...I would suggest not wearing it...but like I said, I think he carries the look well.   ;D

You're supposed to "wear" the shirt...the shirt is not supposed to "wear" you.   ;)

The attached pic is one like one I bought for him on his b'day.  I found the picture on the Xtreme Couture site.  There are many kewl styles.

Bob Chick is the King of promoting these horrible "styles".

Here's what I've seen him in on here:

Von Dutch
Affliction
Ed Hardy
those skin tight "worn" jeans that you pay 300 dollars for.
I think I've even seen him in a pair of Mark Nason boots; it's like he's a confused homosexual cowboy or something, not sure.

I like Bob and all, but his clothing is out there, but whatever floats his boat.

The king of 80's clothes: Arvilla, hands down.  Brutal gold's gym 3xl sweatshirts , zoobas, fanny pack with otomix shoes and mullet / military haircut in any photo he posts taken in the last century.

I think the only way to wear these and not look like a total douche is to wear them under a nice blazer,  looks pretty good that way and you dont look like a complete douche because nobody can tell that the sleeves are cutting off your circulation.

I've looked at the clothing line a few times but could never fit in there style. Now that I can fit I wont and the shirts have really gotten pretty Gay looking. BUT their women's line "Sinful" Ohh shit Would not mind getting the wife in some of those jeans. But DAMN $180 ~ $240 for a pair of jeans WTF????

But I will say the Skull Camo shorts looked pretty cool, but I'm not a tool so I wont be buying them.

better to stick with real biker gear and clothes...like Harley Davidson or any company that makes motorcycles...or even better yet go to bike shows,  the best  looking T's are at biker shows all around the country...they have stands where they sell hundreds and hundreds of different logo T's...Some of the artists are amazing...They dont sell them in the stores though so ya have to go to the shows.
