I don't think so. I like the look and build of sighthounds but my future will always have me living in an apartment so I am thinking whippet or Italian Greyhound.

What kind of look do you like?

If you're looking for a Greyhound, there's loads of them being disposed of all the time.  Check for a local rescue.

No, I am flat man, have always lived in flats, probably always will and I do prefer sight hounds; I think the whippet is a good size compromise...

Does owning a big dog make you feel tougher?

Maybe you should get a pitbull.......

Its a tough one, boerboels are bread to hunt leopards, and pitbulls are bread to fight, but for sheer intimidation a boerboel would be best even though theyre big softies at heart.

funny you say that, but yes they eat anything. I used to feed myne mieliepap which is like a maize porridge lol.
But since you live in an apartment I sugest you get a cat instead, any dog in an apartment is kinda cruel.

Good point.

Might as well be fucking massive and live a short life than be some gay little dog and live forever.

I live next to a Boerboel breeder.  They are big, but wouldn't trade my Rotties for one.  At one point, I thought the breed might be interesting enough to pursue, but no longer.  The personality of the breed just isn't 'there'.
