Title: My last Cutler thread
Post by: body88 on October 06, 2006, 02:36:59 PM
I know most all of you have had just about enough of my threads this week. I had to defend Cutler against all the Ronnie Coleman prostate nibblers who just could not accept the fact Cutler was the better man. Not only did he looks way tighter than Ronnie at the gp. Ronnie looked like total horse testicles.

I cannot post pics because the pic feature is junk right now. But I would like to take this time to let Matt C and Hulkster know Ronnie was owned this contest. No controversy here! What is next for Ronnie Coleman?

Ronnie is going to go and focus more than ever before. he tasted the taste of losing and its bitter and sour. Personally im super happy Jay won. he earned that shit. but i think Ronnie has one more in him.

I am ob a Cutler fan. But I am not delusional. Ronnie at 100 perecent kills everyone. Cutler was the better man that night at the O and def at the gp show.

Do you think Coleman will retire?

given Ronnie's lifestyle, No. I don't think he will. As far as i've read, Ronnie doesn't have anything else on the side. I've read that Jay has different types of business ideas and such. Ronnie has nothing but training. He'll be back even if he places dead last.

How can an off Cutler own an off Coleman?  Neither looked anywhere near their best.  I would give it to Jay this time only by virtue of the fact he was less off than Ronnie.  Judging by pictures I have seen, I would have gone with Ruhl in first, followed by Jay in second and Ronnie in third.  At the Olympia, I would have given it to Ronnie, but it depends how much weight you put on back.  If backs win shows, then Jay should definitely have won the Olympia.

Tonight was one of Ronnie's worst showings in years.  He looked as he did when he lost the 2002 GNC to Gunter.

I will format this article in a couple of hours, but it explains my point of view in greater detail:

http://www.bodybuildingpro.com/jaycutlerversusronniecoleman2006.html

You keep saying Cutler was off, despite every knowledgable person saying he was on.
How do you feel he was off?

He was harder than he's ever been.
He was full (something he hasn't been able to do when he comes in dry)
And he was a full 10 or more lbs bigger than any other show he's ever done.

He himself will say that was his best appearance ever.
Every top bodybuilder has said that was his best appearance ever.

But, you feel he was off?

I think even Jay knows that an ON Coleman beats him, and if they're both off, Jay still loses.  But, Jay was on, and Coleman wasn't.

Not bashing, I just really want to know why you think he was off.

At the Olympia Jay was on.  Ronnie was too in my opinion, save for his injuries and washed out abs.  The abs are nothing new though, but the injuries were.

But at the GP today, judging from the pictures I saw, Jay didn't look to be in the condition he was in at the Olympia, or his previous bests.

Okay, that's fair.  I could have sworn you've said Jay was off at the Olympia.

I think it's too early to judge if Jay was off today based on two pics of him, one where he wasn't into the pose.

I think he might just relish the EIGHT Olympias he has already won and the 4 times he put Cutler in 2nd place.  Maybe I dont know?   Any Cutler fan should be happy with his win but think about it for a sec.  It took Jay SIX YEARS to finally beat Ronnie.  Doesnt really give his reign any momentum to push it forward considering the rest of the field is so much closer to Cutler than they ever were to Coleman.

If Ronnie is stupid enough to keep competing Cutler is going to even the score real quick. It's Jay's turn now. Ronnie needs to read the tea leaves and walk away.

You may be right considering the Ronnie we are seeing this year but it would take six years for Jay to even the score and Ronnie will compete next year which will hopefully be his last.

Jay Cutler Mr Olympia 2006 winner by default.

A 100% Ronnie beats a 100% Jay still anyday of the week and all you Jay nuthuggers know this.

Overall Ronnie is still the best BBer, just maybe not in 2006.  I still think Ron took him at the O though.

Yes but a 100% Ronnie was better then a 100% Dorian who was better than a 100% Haney.  It's been progressive.

This year's My Olympia is unprogressive.

Yeah you're right, it wouldn't win.

It's a shame he can't get this kind of detail of old on his current frame.  It's his lack of detail and striations, especially in his upper body that puts me off him.
