That, right there, is YOUR Mr. Olympia, gentleman.

Jay is smart... that is the perfect way for a guy with his structure to do a front relaxed stance...
no point crunching down the abs when you have lats like that!
-
May be the largest man to ever do a vacuum, pound for pound.

May be?

I have never seen Ruhl compare so favoratively to Ronnie and Jay. His biceps are actually much bigger.

Shit....Ruhl has bigger arms than Jay....any day of the week.
Ronnie probably has the best shape (or atleast one of his arms do)

Mike Katz?
I don't see the relationship between size and the abilty to do a vaccum. You're not supposed to have swollen internal organs in the first place.

I'm not sure....I don't remember ruhl always having bigger arms, specifically his tris.
-
Wow. Defiantly deserving.

This pic reminds me of Greg Kovacs last outing at the Arnold...not saying Jay is not looking good. But the tan, the mid-section are very reminiscent
Jay actually looks better than last week.
-
maybe its the lighting or jay came in better condition....... but he looks way better then he did last week
-
A vacuum shot?

dorian started with the flexed/crunched abs and then went to the way jay is doing here(kinda minus the "vacuum").
-

Agreed.
Unfortunately the art of the vacuum is now lost and replaced with monster guts, GH, and insulin.

yes sir!
there was a day.....it was almost a mandatory pose.
-
It is indeed a sad day for bodybuilding when Jay'a ability to hold his breath for a minute in the front relaxed pose is actually called a "vacumn". Tony Pearson had a vacumn. Frank Zane had a vacumn. Jay has a lint brush.

Dorian sure did change his front relaxed stance around 1993 or so before then he crunched down his abs which made him appear narrow and lose sight of his lats. By 1996 he had perfected it and his front relaxed stance was basically a lat spread without the forearms at the side.
Some people can can a little overboard with the height of the arms and then they lose the cap to the delt that jay has here.
Upper body wise he looks awesome doing it this way. i'd like to see his feet a little closer together and his toes/knees pointed out slightly more though...
