we have PLENTY more troops available, we'd only need a draft and we'd have MILLIONS of troops available if our national existence was threatened.
however....the only hope we would have against china is to somehow get India on our side. otherwise they would beat us-they have over 250 million potential troops :o FAR,FAR more than we could ever muster.

Agree.

I'm sure China will handle North Korea, if the rest of the world let them.

Personally, I'd like to see UN be involved, but I doubt that China will allow that.

But as HHS points out, North Korea in its current state is only a problem to China. They have no economic resources and is politically unstable.
