i was raised to eat 'healthy' food you know low fat low sugar normal food still had goodies here and there. i had a very wimpy structure until i started lifting, eating more and eating whatever high fat crap i wanted. this is when i gained size ofcourse
then you got fat people with huuge calves that were brought up with eating cheesefries for dinner with ranch dressing/ hamberger with 50% fat/ goodies anytime they pleased. the growth stimulation by calories alone along with higher bodyweight too caused alot of muscle growth in there untrained slobby asses in there calves because these calves are the only muscles they every even slightly used, these untrained garbage eating people. they were supplied with the CORRECT building tools all along the problem is, they were so SEDENTARY that they didnt burn the excess off wich caused obesity and other health problems of cours because of being so SEDENTARY. Fat people had the tools all along. I think bodybuilders would see much better gains if they ate like this, but stepped up there training intensity so they dont get fat...I eat pizza and icecream everyday and dont get fat but i do grow!

good observation. you'll especially notice this phenomena among 300 pound mongoloids. i kid you not. don't ask me why, but the overweight ones(which is most) have enormous calves that make matarazzo's look like toothpicks!

ive noticed that too with fat people. seen some of them with huge calves and you can see the diamonds coming out to some degree. maybe since they are so fat their calves are being stressed out(worked out) very hard. probably due to lifting all the weight just be doing every day activities.

i think it partly has to do with them eating 5-10 big mac type sandwiches a day along with other fattyloaded food, basically they eat the most anabolic food NOT PROTIEN NOT LOWFAT DIET, BUT HIGH HIIIIGH FAT HIGH CARBS, if they wouldve only been busting there ass in the gym they would dominate
alot of these fat people cook in grease repeatadly all there foods, they get around 800-900 grams of fat per day!!!

I think their calves would dissapear once they dieted down. When you figure in how often calves are used daily, it is no wonder they are huge for these people. Just strap on 50-100 lbs of weight for a complete month and you'll have huge calves too. Pregnant women show it as well.

Actually, I think it may be because the fat people with the muscular calves may put their snacks on a higher shelf then the fat people with just fat calves.
One way to build up calves is to walk on your toes constantly instead of walking normally. After some practice you can do it and it is not really noticeable to other people. I used to do it for hours at a time when I had to work in a dorm cafeteria.

this is an extreme example of a fat person with not much calves. i garantee every offensive lineman has pretty bad ass calves. but again u people are missing the point as always, not getting enough fat is why you are not growing.

That's becuase you don't eat enough. Equal number of calories of clean food compared to dirty food will give you better results.

They do. I used them in high school for basketball and they work. My calves only grew a little, but they became a lot stronger in a short amount of time. High school and college basketball players still use them.

fuckin' hilarious!!! just came back from super walmart. i asked 3 different rascal pilots if i could measure their calves. diamond tipped/shaped beauties, with none measuring under 22.5"! each person, (2chicks, 1 dude) was going at least 415, but i can see the bodybuiding potential! one chicks arm measured 24"! and she didn't even train! THAT, my friends, is genetic potential waiting to explode!

Most fat people's calves are FAT just like the rest of them. If you really look at them you will see that most of them have no definition just SIZE. And the ones that have definition or "diamonds" are mostly due to intracellular FAT which they would lose a lot of if the did in fact diet down.
Please post pics of the many FAT people with huge "ripped" calves.

This is true I was at the O last week and the best calves I saw were on some mid Western looking fat dude walking on the strip. 300 pound6 ft fat slob with crazy vascular calves.

It the human muscle that retains gains for a larger period of time! But also is the most "genetics-dependent" muscle, unless, you start to pressure them at a really young age, like these fat people do by increasing weigth very early in their lives!
