I may be ignorant, but I would have at least said happy Thanksgiving AND Columbus day :)

That would have been extremely hypocritical of me to wish anyone a Happy Columbus Day.
I think the genocide Columbus unleased on the native peoples is not a cause for celebration, but mourning, so I respectfully chose NOT to comment on it. I only mention it now because you brought it up.

ps - I don't mind wishing you guys a Happy Fourth of July, or a Happy Martin Luther King Day :)

No, I mean the all out deliberate wholesale slaughter and enslavement of indigenous peoples.

Columbus' history throughout the Carribbean has been well documented, and his legacy of attrocities so heinous, it has prompted others to ensure that every single last one of his descendants has been sought out and wiped off the face of the planet. :'(

no doubt eh, I was right stoked to eat a beauty turkey dinner way up here in the great white north.
