I dunno if anyone has taken notice or not but under the guidance of renowned contest prep guru Milos Sarcev, new IFBB Pro Hidetada Yamagishi has made enormous strides in his development, placing 6th and 4th respectively at the past 2 European GPs behind Jay and Ronnie. That is simply amazing, considering he couldn't even place at the Ironman at the start of the year!
Also, Hide competed at a paltry 165-176 lbs shredded during his amateur career; since then he has packed on over 50 lbs of lean muscle mass! That is staggering in and of itself, especially since Hide is an Asian BBer with a naturally small frame and ectomorphic body type.
Now just how long will it take for this phenomenal new Oriental talent to rise to the top of the BB world and take his very 1st Olympia crown like Jay did? How far do you see him rising in the Pro ranks under the tutelage of IFBB legend Milos?
-
Awesome.
-
O title? No, never. Great build nonetheless.

Looks like a much crappier version of Gustavo. NY Asian Pro Wong Hong is much better.

Why never? 4th only to Jay, Ronnie Coleman and Ronnie Rockel at Dutch GP. Beat lotsa stars.
-
i agree with thegoldenprince, what is wrong with the physique? He doesn't look like he just went and got an oil change to his arms or shoulders like a lot of pros do. nice v taper and looks grainy.

I think Japanese people looks friendly.
They're short, and kinda... likeable.

I think Logicaly its impossible for him to win O.
But youll never know.
Because it was logicaly impossible to beat another white and black dudes for him.
Even if he has a small frame, he can beat all of them with 290lbs with this condition.
Impossible? Youll never know...

You're one of the most annoying pieces of shit I've ever seen, though.

No, it'll never happen but I bet he's good at math. ;D

I saw him at the 2005 ironman where he was much smaller. He looks radically different now, in a good way. I remember he had fairly obvious gyno so I'm glad he got that taken out. He had a pretty cool freeposing routine where he came out in a japanese demon mask, and a samurai sword. There were a busload of supporters with him from Japan, which was very cool. When I say a busload I mean like 25-30 people. I saw the same group in golds the next week buying up everything in the proshop. He really looks good, but he is even shorter in person.

When Jaroslav Horvath is in shape, he's one of the top 10 bodybuilders in the world. Makshantsev has potential.
Not having seen the performance of these two, it's hard to say anything in regards to Hide's performance. But a Horvath in shape is very hard to beat, I'll say that.

Yes BUT that is phenomenal for Asian BBer... ;)...considering 99% of Asian BBers cannot even qualify for IFBB Pro ranks.

-
Looks like a PDI show ..
Yeah, the best PDI show ever...

-
Bump.
-
When will he win his first sandow?
Very soon. I can feel it in my bones.

LOL, Hide's a good BBer though. He was tiny only a few years ago at 165-176 lbs. Wonder what he and Milos did to bulk up that much at such an advanced phase of his career... ;)
-
Hide Mr Japan! :D
He has never won Mr.Japan.
Hides success must inspirate many japanese BBer to be positive.
Because he is not known for his genetic. There are many better genetic guys there. But, they have poor mentality and negativity. And they are not possitive like Hide.
-
Well---considering that he has the same size arms as milos, maybe he should stop training with him altogether :-\Then again, maybe Hidetada can do 100 plus shows too
-
Looks to be top tier.
Where's Kamali ???
-
No Wong sucks.
-
i dont think youre aware of the size you need to be in the offseason inorder to even have a shot at the title. size size and then some more,,size is only thing you need to care about offseason when you aim at o. jason learned it and executed.
beast is a must,,this jap cant become a beast unless he reborn.

when will he win his first SHOW? the dudes not even crawling yet and your expecting him to walk! his frame isnt large enough to contend. he'll get eclipsed and its over for him.
-
When Will Top Asian BBer Hidetada Win His 1st Sandow?
How about... NEVER??? Is never good for you?
-
Has an Asian bodybuilder ever won any Pro Bodybuilding show?
-
Since the IFBB chooses Mr. Olympia based on what they think they can market, they should make him Mr. O asap. Asia would be much more receptive to bodybuilding - they like vomit porn and eating bird spit soup, so they're all about weird stuff. The IFBB is too dumb to know this so he'll never be Mr. O.

Woooooow you met him?
Thats great! He is not human. 75kg and bench 270kg!!

Definitely Wong Hong has a better physique. More balanced and symmetrical one than Hide. However, Wong needs to put on some more mass in order to do some serious damage in the IFBB pro scene. Give him some time and i think he will realize his full potential as a pro bbder!! ;)
-
"asiansensation" WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HA!!!!!
That sounds gayer than Peter Pan wearing ice skates!

alright 'asiansensation'.
what are you, some kind of instant noodle?
-
"asiansensation" BAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HA!!!
I think the hardest job in the world has to be a detective in Hong Kong or Beijhing(sp?)..."Can you describe the perpetrator?" Hahahahahahahahaha!!!
"...deeck da hawes wit bowez of frarey...fah rah rah rah rah...rah rah rah rah...diiis da seeezen to be jarrry fah rah rah rah rah rah rah rahrah..."
-
Looks like a PDI show ..
Yep the same PDI that pays more in prize money than 80% of all IFBB shows (IFBB is 40+ years old too) and actually pays for flights and hotels for the competitors. Must be great being an IFBB pro

Wong lives very close by to me.Spoke to him recently and he currently weighs about 255lbs.He plans to get up to about 260-265lbs by the end of the year then start contest prep...targetting the Australian GP sometime March i think. He's been out of competition for a couple of years coz of business. He just set up his own fitness centre.

Where? NY?
-
Wong set up his new fitness center in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of malaysia. I have beenh there before and it's a very nice and well equipped gym. Go to his web site at www.wonghong.net to find out more. I cannot wait to see Wong back in action again at the IFBB Australian Pro on March 10, 2007! What a greatphysique he has :D
-
In spite of my being Japanese,i think Wong has more potential than Hide.
But,when we talk about present, I think Hide is better than Wong.
Wong has good shape, but he dont have density mass like Hide now.
-
Hard trainer, loves the sport but..
short, stumpy men with small frames and no outstanding body parts do not win pro shows, let alone the O..

Hmmm..asian bbers?? Why isn't Kris Dim mentioned?? He is asian right?? He was in a couple of olympias.
-
Good point, PECS! Well, i think why Kris was not mentioned here is mainly becuase he is Asian American. He lives in USA almost all his life and get to train in the best gyms and use the best "juice " in the world.I do not know if he is guided by the gurus like many toher pros do!!!
Gyms in Malaysia are kind of suck (hard to find good Hammer Strength machines) and are not fully equipped for high level competitors such as the pros. Most of the gyms there are catered for fitness purposes only. Maybe the same apply to Japan?? So, we should give them (Wong and Hide) some credit considering the facts i have mentioned above. ;)

Dim trains under Milos' tutledge. He has access to all the good synthol supplements.
