The newest addition to Team Weider, James "Flex" Lewis, meets with the man
JAMES “FLEX” LEWIS SIGNS ON AS WEIDER ATHLETE

Team Weider welcomed the newest edition to the team today at our headquarters in Woodland Hills, California, when James “Flex” Lewis stopped by to make it official – he’s a Weider athlete.

Lewis, who originally hails from Wales, visited with girlfriend Shina Mitchell and made the rounds, visiting with the FLEX staff and, to top it all off, the man who started it all - Joe Weider himself.

“I’ve dreamed of being a Weider athlete since I started bodybuilding,” Lewis said.

The 22-year-old Lewis was just days off winning the light-heavyweight class at the British Nationals this past Sunday. He was one point shy of winning the overall title, losing out to Troy Brown.

Lewis plans on taking the next year to prepare for the British Nationals in 2007, where he hopes to win his pro card.

How is it, that some guys that are avg get a pro card, and someone that looks as amazing as Flex lewis, is still not a pro??? Sure hes only a baby at 21, but you know what i mean...hes amazing.

Amazing? Come on now, he looks good for his age but he's so far away from someone like Phil Heath it's laughable.

Heath was clean as a whistle until just a couple years ago. Lewis is so far beneath someone like him it's laughable. He's got good genes and started juicing very young. Hardly makes him superman.
