Worse - the IFBB completely bent and changed and did everything against their own rulebook by giving Lee a written piece of paper to be used for a lawsuit again them. What it shows is that they have no rules, that a hearing set will never occur, and that they can make up what they want. Since there are no rules to follow, there cannot be rules to implement.
I can't beleive the IFBB would bend over backwards to Lee, then let Lee kick them in the ass with a lawsuit. What is is. If someone breaks the rules, they get suspended. I expected better from the IFBB.
So the question to ask Lee if he is going to sue the IFBB and take them down for threatening his supplement companies, his negotiations with other companies, with anyone around him, with his contract with Muscular Development, or will Lee just shut up.

Bullshit. The guy is merely protesting what is a stupid as hell rule in the first place. For fuck's sake, the IFBB was founded by taking guys from another organization and giving them another place to compete. Now that the tables are turned they're the ones forgetting where they came from.

After weeks of speculation, Lee Priest has made his decision public: "I'm going to England and competing in the PDI. The IFBB can take their letter and shove it where they think the sun shines."
You heard it here first; Lee Priest has rejected the IFBB's attempt at clemency and has instead embraced his new-found home in Wayne DeMilia's Pro Division Inc. (PDI).
Priest insists that the IFBB's proposed 9-month suspension makes it virtually impossible for him to earn any money in the coming year; whereas, a win at the PDI English Night of Champions could yield him a cool $15K. On top of that, Lee says he's booked 8 seminars in England and another 3 in Barcelona which, when added up, could result in him returning to the States with a sizable chunk of change.
Is he leaving for the money?
Lee's the first person to point out that while money played somewhat of a short-term role; ultimately, money was not the deciding factor. With the loss of his lucrative $110K TwinLab contract-- and no new offers on the horizon-- Priest stands to make a lot less money in 2007. Why do it? Why leave the IFBB; the organization he's called home for the last 10 years? Priest insists that he wants to be an instrument of change. He wants to create new opportunities for future generations of bodybuilders. He wants to open up doors that are currently closed to most professional bodybuilders.
Thomas Jefferson was convinced that, "Every generation needs a new revolution"; however, the question remains, does Lee Priest have a clear enough vision to bring about change or is he just another rebellious anarchist who thrives on controversy? It's impossible to predict what the outcome may be.

I actually thank you for choosing to be the one to hold the door open for future competitors. I'm hoping to be around for a while and more options creates opportunity and a sense of urgency for promoters to work with them because of the knowledge that their are other options. Great foresight and lead to follow. I just hope more credible competitors, like yourself, will stand with you. Thanks, you're awesome.

He's a big fish in a small pond and he can end his career being the top PDI guy rather than winning the occasional show in the IFBB. The IFBB is more prestigous and more competitive but not necessarily the best choice for everyone.

Of course he stays with PDI, why the hell not? It is going to be just easy money to him, because there even isn't any competition; he is going to win all the shows where he is going to show up. In IFBB he would be in top 6 at most, in PDI he will be a king of the hill all the way to that day when some other top pro join in and kick his ass.

What's funny is that the IFBB is what made Lee popular. The IFBB is what MADE Lee...Lee got to where he is today(resentful, ungrateful, storyteller, drama queen) because of the IFBB and now he insists to bite the hand that fed him.
Lee is ONLY doing thi snot because it is something he believes in...it is because he LOVES the drama and noteriety associated with it. he likes how there are 3-4 threads about him on here, he likes the fact that he knows lots of figure/fitness girls read these boards daily and he is hoping he gets a PM by one or an e-mail by one telling him how 'brave' they think he is and that's another potential chink in the ol' bedpost for Lee! He likes the fact that there are whispers and talk all over this industry about him and his 'rebelious' attitude and how Lee is being a true pioneer or trendsetter but in reality...it's ALL calculated and planned out. Biggest drama queen in the entire industry.
I'm sorry Lee...I'll shut up with my "little" figure girl here in VEGAS!!!

Good job Lee. You are going to be getting sponsors don't worry. One thing sponsors like are guys who stick to there guns and have some sort on integrity. The IFBB has been fucking the members since day one and everyone puts up with it cause they have no balls. Of all the IFBB pros who would have thought one of the shortest (but by far not near the smallest) guys shows the biggest balls and tenacity. Good for you Lee. You are still one of the most popular BB's in the world and am sure you didn't one and gained a million more. Promote the fuck out of your website and start selling allot of shit.

If your a bodybuilding fan or bodybuilder that purchases bodybuilding dvd, shirts, books etc, then stand by Lee Priest and buy his before some of the other IFBB guys that bad mouth Lee's choices like wash women. Lee is one of the best Bodybuilders to ever compete and he spoke out against the IFBB and stayed true to his convictions.......That is commendable! especially in a game such as bodybuilding where there are so many kiss ass'. Good for him, I hope more guys follow suit and take a stand and support the PDI, which ultimately will help bodybuilding.
