Mike Mentzer is my favorite bodybuilder of all time and as I try to emulate him in many ways I would very much appreciate it if someone could share with me this video. I heard it's one of the most artistic and beautiful posing routines in the history of physique competition. I always expected it to pop up on youtube but it never has.

There's a pro video of it floating around somewhere, but not good quality.
CBS wouldn't film/air it after the Arnold controversy.

Hey, if you ever get the chance would you please be able to make a gif of another pose from that beach video? A pose where he's in an ab/thigh variation with his left arm in a bicep pose. That's my favorite pose in that clip!

Mike was awsome, I've got that total rebuild thing about arnold somewhere.....he didn't win that show. I don't care what anybody says, not as bad as Franco winning the next year but it was still pretty bad.

Yes, although I'd still consider Mike Mentzer the greatest bodybuilder of all time. Even without a sandow.

I love the cruxifix pose at the universe (77 i think) where he had the perfect 300 score. Not sure If Mike was The greatest of all time but he sure was great.

Arnold bought all the 1980 Olympia tapes so no one could see how much of a scam it was.As was 81 and 82.Cheapest show in history 20k for Mr Olympia 1980.Wonder if that cheque was ever cashed,a lot of people say NOT.A true gift payed forward.

My understanding of the tapes was they also superimposed Cheering when Arnold won to hide all the boos.

Hide the Boos and the very loud calls of BULLSHIT from about 100 people classic.The whole thing was a joke.Arnold new it was a fix and did not even pose correctly and played the whole time on stage.Oscar State warned Arnold he just laughed and kept doing it.The circus was in town and king clown was Arnold.

Mike condition in 1980 was an example of man at his best. Sure, his size was surpassed but his passion and dedication to bodybuilding was not.
