this is referring to endormophs or endomesomorphs. how many of you guys actually only do cardio 2-3x a week to lose weight? cuz i'm 240 lbs and my maintenance is around 2400-2500ish and i'd starve to death if i drop down to 2000 calories. but i hate doing cardio cuz my body gets super tired afterwards and it kind of piles up cuz iv'e been doing cardio 4-5x a week. normally, i only spend 30 minutes doing it. 10 minutes high intensity then 20 minutes moderate intensity. any guys in a similar situation as me? i hate having a slow metabolism

You could do cardio 3 times a week (not less) and lose, though IMO you'll be healthier and have more efficient lose with 5 times a week.
What about doing a less tedious routine-a different exercise, or doing just moderate cardio for the full 30 minutes-HIT isn't a necessity and is harder, more exhausting.

Cardio five or more times a week does not have anymore benefit or speed in the process of burning fat than 2 or 3 times a week, in most cases. With too much excess cardio, there might also be the danger of lossing muscle mass along with fat. Twenty to thirty minutes duration of cardio training should be just fine for most folks.
Interval training (12-20 minutes total length) can give greater results, by far, over any standard cardio session between 30 t0 60 minutes or longer. Tabata training comes to mind as one of the better methods. 20 seconds max effort, rest 10 seconds, 20 seconds, rest 10 seconds, etc. usually between 5 to 8 sets max. Other like interval programs out there, if you care to do a search. HedgeHog presented a good interval program a few weeks back, if you can find it. Good Luck.

Question:
Have you tried Max-OT cardio? It's a nice change-up and it might help reduce fatigue because the duration is short.
I agreed that interval training is also a great option.
Have you thought about an EC stack to boost fat loss?
Have you looked at calorie cyclying (high carb days, low carb days)?
Do you do your cardio before or after working out? Have you tried doing it on either seperate days or at a seperate time of day?

Cardio 3x week is good-just mix it up. Take a brisk walk, look at the fall leaves one day. Another day, walk 5 minutes to warm-up then do shorter intervals, either bike--or run 1 minute hard, walk/bike easy two minutes, run two minutes hard .. up to five minutes then back down. Walk?Bike easy 5 min. to cooldown.
Swimming is great for weight loss with no impact if you have access to a pool and can do it!
