Title: New budweiser commercial
Post by: body88 on October 21, 2006, 09:16:17 AM
You guys see it yet? The one with the dude who brings home the chick and she finds what she thinks to be a strippers pole. She starts to dance on it and he opens a but light. Turns out to be a firemans pole with random frat type dudes sliding down it. Guy slides down when he hears the sound of the beer open and takes out the chick. Then another guy takes out the guy who took out the chick.

Bud usually has great commercials but this one was terrible. They are slipping!

I like the Halloween party commercial where the dude is like dressed as a fridge.   ;D

These commercials are usually hit or miss.

The bud frogs and wasssuppp adverts were the best

For me though, the Carlsberg ads are the best by far

Funny that I just saw this thread because yesterday when I was watching the Pats game I saw the Jay Z budweiser commercial where he is in an F430 and he's racing Danica Patrick whose in a Zonda, it looks like they're in Monaco. Pretty cool commercial especially for people that love cars.

By the way Danica blasting around in a Zonda Roadster was effin hot. She usually doesn't do much for me because she's just a skinny flat chested little thing but in a Zonda Roadster she was HOT.

By the way how cool would it be to date a woman that could be kick your ass no matter what car you were driving? LOL

You could put her in a Yugo and you in a Lotus Elise and she'll still kick your ass around the Nurburgring. There's something kind of sexy about that.

Now THAT's a sign of a very confident man.  :)  I like that.
It takes a man to appreciate getting his ass kicked by someone better than him,
...but it takes a REAL man to get off on it too.  :)

Fantastic, Jaguar Scammerprises likes my post.  :-X

Please disregard it, I take it back and I no longer believe what I originally posted. The last thing in the world I want is to be in agreement with Jaguar Scammerprises.

Are you a pansy?

If by pansy you mean would I get a raging stiffy while I was racing Danica Patrick around the Nurburgring then Yes, I'm a pansy.

do beer commercials affect what you buy?
Not commercials that talk about taste or brewing conditions but have something in tehre that has nothing to do with beer, like Jay-Z racing Danica patrick?  what the hell does that have to do wit budweiser?  It's not gonna make my bud heavy taste any different.

Company's try to sell a lifestyle. Take Heineken for example. If I had a dollar for every fool drinking a Heineken because the commercial says it is a fine beer I would be rich. I think Heineken tastes like Rusty water. But the commercials make you think it is the finest beer around.

Hmmm, where shall I begin? I'm not sure which I should mention first your unrelenting bashing of the USA even though you're Canadian and have no right to bash the USA or the fact that you sell a pyramid scheme and on occasion spam the board with your scam sales pitch.

Slow your roll buddy.  ::)

1st point - I do not bash the USA. I don't equate acknowledging truths and facts to be bashing.
Truth is truth, whether it is flattering or not. Maybe if more people were willing to face the truth and do something about it, it would no longer be the truth. If you don't like the truth, do something about it, ...and be grateful someone still has enough respect for you to tell you the truth rather than blow smoke up your butt or play to your ego. Pull your head from up out of your derriere, wipe the cobwebs out of your eyes, and take a good hard look around you. Then come back and tell me I've cruelly bashed the USA. If you're even half as on the ball as you think you are, I'm sure you'll have no choice but to conclude if anything, I've pulled my punches. I make no secret about my opinion of some of your politicians. Those who pull the strings in your country are not the USA. You tell me that because I'm Canadian I have no right to criticize anything American, ...but at the same time, you as an American reserve the right to criticize Iraq, the Taliban or any other state or group you choose to?  ::) Where does such hypocritical, arrogant, audacity come from? really? where? I don't care what my citizenship is. I have business interests and investments in America. Most of my family are Americans, and many of my colleagues are Americans. I care about America, Americans, and the future of your country, ...possibly even more than you if your willful blindness to the current state of affairs is any indication. When evil, corrupt, psychopaths make stupid decisions with ramifications that impact my life and the lives of those I care about, I'll be damned if I sit silent with my tail between my legs. I will criticize them whether they be Canadian, American, British, Israeli, Iraqi, Afghani or extra-terrestrial.  >:(

2nd point - I do not sell a pyramid scheme. Pyramids are illegal and people are well advised to steer clear of them.

3rd point - I do not give scam sales pitches. I've never scammed another human being in my life, ...and I never will.

Find another scapegoat or get yourself a penile implant. I'm not the cause of your impotence  >:(

Of course you missed my point because you're a pyramid scheme selling moron. You're Canadian, you're not a US citizen as far as I know and you don't pay US taxes as far as I know so you have ZERO right to criticize anything the US does that doesn't pertain directly to Canada. Instead of focusing on the US perhaps you should instead focus on Canada and what ails your little nation. Last I checked Canada wasn't utopia so I'm sure there are issues up there for you to focus your vast intellect on.

Perhaps you've convinced yourself that you don't sell pyramid schemes but everyone else knows the truth. I remember distinctly you starting some moronic thread recommending that people buy a certain hot tub or sauna or something and you failed to mention your connection to the company. You were spamming the board in an underhanded way and trying to scam a commission. You waste of oxygen.

You're right about one thing, seeing that ugly ass mug of yours does make me impotent. You're so frighteningly unattractive that my penis is literally frightened until I look away from that abortion you call a face.

You wouldn't know the difference between a pyramid scheme and a legal legitimate network marketing business if it bit you on the ass.

Do you make this shit up as you go along? Then convince yourself it's true?  ::)
Show me where I tried to sell a hot tub or sauna, or recommended people buy one?
I asked if anyone had ever tried one cause I myself was considering buying one.
I wanted to know what people's experiences with it were. There's a big difference.
If you think that I think people would run out and buy a $12,000 swimming machine to try it so they could relate their experiences with it to me, ...then you're even stupider than I thought.

So are you a US citizen? IF you are then I'll back off my statement that you have no right to criticize the US. If you're not then I stand by my statement. I'll not even comment on the Canada being better than the US remark, I'll let the merits of that stand on its own.

Are you saying you weren't affiliated in anyway with the company that was selling those lap pools or whatever they were? Are you saying that you in no way benefitted if someone bought one?

And I find your hypocrisy laughable. You can't tell me I'm impotent and then get your panties in a twist because I comment on how frighteningly unattractive you are.  ::)

You just did. It was a comparison that does in fact stand on it's own merit. In this country, an accused has the right to an attorney, as well as a day in court, and there has to be evidence against him that he has a right to hear, and challenge before a jury of his peers. He can't be kidnapped out of his bed in the dead of night, whisked away to some secret prison somewhere, tortured, locked away indefinitely, held without charge, all because some moron who has already risen to levels of incompetence never before seen says lock his ass up.  Oh, ...but I forgot, ...you have "Dancing With The Stars", "Jerry Springer", & "Monster Truck racing"  ::)

"Denial is a defense mechanism in which a person is faced with a fact that is painful to accept rejects it instead, insisting that it is not true despite what may be overwhelming evidence. The subject may deny the reality of the unpleasant fact altogether (simple denial), admit the fact but deny its seriousness (minimisation) or admit both the fact and seriousness but deny responsibility (transference)."

Notice how you didn't actually answer the question about whether or not you're a US citizen? In yes or no form could you please tell us if you are actually a US citizen.

If not shut your ridiculous pyramid scheme selling mouth up. I'm an angry prick because your ugly mug is plastered all over every thread on this board that has anything to do with the US yet you live in Canada. In essence all your doing is bringing the collective attractiveness rating of all women down and wasting oxygen. Your opinion means nothing yet your sad and egotistical personality in some way believes that what you say is relevent somehow.

As I said in another post why don't you focus your vast intelligence on the issues dealing with Canada. You know, the place where you actually live.

By the way you bash the US because you and your little country are envious of it. We are without question the greatest country on the planet, we're far far from perfect but we're better than anywhere else. That my unattractive little blowhard is a fact.

Don't be absurd, you never actually answered the question with a yes or with a no. Instead you danced around the subject. Perhaps you could show proof of your current US citizenship? Did you vote in the last Presidential Election?

You know who has the tendency to dance around answers like that? Yep, you guessed it, people that sell pyramid schemes. Just like you.

No, you don't have the right to criticize what the US does if you're not a citizen the same way I wouldn't have the right to criticize what Canada does especially when it doesn't effect me.

I have been to Canada a few times and man that place blows. I would rather live in the US under dumb ass George Bush than in Canada where I can get some sweet medical attention if I do not have insurance. Few more years of Bush bag and we will be alot better off.

Do I even own a jacket?  Oh yes.  I have two.  I use them for those windy days at Kailua beach when the wind chills my back as I sway in my hammock.   ;D

You lucky bastard. It's like 48 here.  :'(

Oh go ahead and twist it while you're at it. {lol} Ya big meanie!  >:(

I had to pop out to the store around 10am this morning, and it was soooo cold, I was chilled to the bone. When I got back inside, I never bothered taking off my jacket. Didn't even notice it until you pointed out how warm it was there.

NE is good times. Tropical heat in the summer. Cold as shit in the winter. Tons of snow. I love to snowboard / play hockey. Love the cold!

Love the fall and the season changes. Spring is perfect for flag football. Hawaii is Paradise but only in the eyes of the individual. I love the snow and season change. Snow on Christmas is what makes Christmas. Winter snow with a nice warm fire. Love the snow.

I will buy a condo in San Dieago. Never would want to live In a tropical place year round.

Only compaint I have is the humidity around here in the dead of summer.

You don't consider San Diego a tropical place?  It's about 72 degrees year round.  Gets cold at night in the winter, but no snow.

I have lived near the ocean for almost my entire life.  Couldn't imagine having to live with seasonal weather.  Give me the monotonous 82-85 year round weather over "wind chill factors" and "heat indexes" any day of the week.

I said I would buy a condo in a tropical place like San Diego. The beach here in MA  is literally 2 feet from my back door. I also need to live on the ocean. I like the winter and seasonal changes. I like snow and winter sports. Hawaii is paradise but almost another world. Seems like it would be very disconnected. Not a knock on you personally. Did not mean to come off like that.

Ideally I would like to buy a house in the Cape. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. An hour from Boston/ my family and also seasonal changes.

I personally would not want to live in a place like Hawaii. But I do understand it is paradise and incredable. I am happy for you! I would love to visit Hawaii or own a vacation home there. Breath taking to say the least. I personally could not live in a place like that because I love the winter. I think I am the only one!

I like the one last year where the bear is after the two guys and one yells "Save yourself!!" and they split up.The bear corners the other so he opens the beer and sets it on a rock, which takes the bear's attention away from him,and then just as the bear is about to pick up the beer, the other dude comes flying out of nowhere and snatches the beer and says "intercepted!" and the bear tears the other dude apart.hahahaha

I didn't consider it a knock on me at all and you didn't come off that way.

San Diego is nice.  I'm there about once a year.  But the smog has gotten really bad.  You couldn't always see the air there.  Now it's awful.  You really appreciate clean air when you live on an island (although the vog has been pretty bad here for a couple, three weeks now).

Ok good ;)

I have never been to San Diego. I have spent some time in LA. Also a few coastal towns are around there. Word of mouth told me San Diego was nice. I mentioned the OC a few times to people from California. They said it was "ghetto". I thought it was a very wealthy, beautiful area ???

Body88, OC is like any other place. Parts of it are very nice and upscale, ...while other parts could be categorized as ghetto.  :-\  Even certain parts of BH could be considered ghetto.

I wouldn't live in OC.  If you can afford it, look at the coastal communities from La Jolla to Oceanside.  Solana Beach is my favorite, but there are several along the coast that are beautiful.  Coronado is very nice too.
