well, he doesn't even clean that weight. there's practically zero movement is bis from the start of the lift (all back extension).

having said that, it is interesting to note that he practically built ALL of his bicep mass from those early days of heavy cheat curling (i believe that all of his pec mass came from this period also).

the latter years he obviously brought up weaker body parts and refined his mass.

The form doesn't look quite as ridiculous in this clip, plus it was likely cheating done at the end of a set after using somewhat better form at the beginning. He was probably using too much weight in that pic, to look strong.

There were probably a couple of other exercises that would've worked just as well when  combined with genetics and drugs.

Form what I've read, while he credits cheat cuirls, he equally credits zottman curls for his biceps development during the mass adding years

No, he puts cheats above everything else. Zottman's were used for nuance, as they are for practically any other BB.

shit, gotta see that. why the massive cheat curls? was there are a cheat curl competition or something?

you certainly can't knock the results he got, that's for sure. his biceps were easily better than anyone's from that era. i'd even rate them ahead of sergio's. he put a lot of quality size on those guns early on that lasted him the rest of his career.

aside from his obvious genetics and gear, were cheat curls with massive weights the magic prescription?

I think I know the pic. He's facing the camera, wearing a weightbelt (?) and a white one-piece swimsuit (like in the above pic). Seen it somewhere before, just not sure where.

There's also a pic with him BB curling about 6 small plates aside.

How old was he in that pic?

He was 19 years old when he did that barbell "curl" back in March of 1966 as a guest performer at the Mr. Germany.
