They can bad mouth Ultimate all they want, the fact is he sold more tix than most anyone in the business...only a few can say they did the same. His work in the ring left alot to be desired but it's all about charactor...
I didn't see that Angle promo, do you know if they repeat it? I did see his debut i TNA and it was awesome. I met Kurt backstage at the Rumble and he's is a serious, cool guy.

I watch some of PPV's with my nephew, but I usually read or something unless Hulk is fighting. I saw them chant that on The Rocks story on VH1. I have his book though, it wasn't that bad, but I like just about any biography.

At the end of Andres career, the ultimate warrior used to travel the country and beat the giant in under 7 seconds like every night. Shitty way to end Andres career and a lot of people wouldn't do it, but UW had no qualms about it, he was a dick >:(

The Ultimate Warrior is a class "A" asshole. His matches were all short because he could not wrestle worth a damn. They had to keep his matches short and sweet so they didn't stink up the air. He held up Vince McMahon for large money before summerslam of 1991 or he threatened to no-show the main event. Vince fired him after that. A few years later he gave the loser a second chance and ended up firing him again because he no-showed several hose shows. A few years after that he gave him a third chance and this time the Warrior stiffed a few house shows and used a lame excuse that his father (whom he had not seen in over a decade) passed away. He was canned yet again. He was always commanding a high price tag, his own limo, etc. Plus he was a genuine jerk. He never talked to anyone backstage, he was ignorant, didn't take instruction well, etc. Now he is some sort of spokes person. He is missing a few screw...the only thing he ever had was a good build.

going to the wwf was a smart move for him. having basically a bbers physique obviously endeared him to the public because it's not like he had to show a lot of personality or anything.
i'm surpised there weren't many more pro bbers that made the journey.

Jim owned a gym in the Scottsdale area for a few years. It was called "Warrior's" gym and I trained there for a few months. Jim spent a fair amount of time there. I had the opportunity to speak to him and he was very polite and seemed to be a good guy. All of the people here calling him an asshole have most likely never met him in person.

I've met him. And he truly is an asshole. Only person I know that was barred from ever returning to Main Event Fitness when both Sting and Luger were the owners.

Granted he is very outspoken, I believe he got in the news a while back making some crazy comments about gay people, but he does bring the kajungas to tell it to their faces. He doesn't sugarcoat anything and isn't that what America is lacking these days?
