Flex, wonder if he's gonna show up at the Sacramento... remember AD said they have a little training room in the back of the office.. but also said Mike doesn't want to have anything to do with BB anymore... :(
-
throw in the CHF,,,very sad story. with such a bad disease, he prob only has a good 10-15 years left...
you think he would make more money on the BB expo circuit signing crap...?
-
Yeah what a shit job dealing with convicts and low life's all the time. Mike has done well for himself. All you youngsters out there looking to be pro BB's take a look at what you can achieve with your life.
Fadding into obscurity........

i got a friend who started a bail bonds and makes well over 150 tho a year and then I got a friend with a PHD that is a vice principle in nyc making 65 thousand and gets a bit more as an adjunct at the community college each semester. 8 or more years of education and she can hardly make ends meet in ny....Monster job ops for those with masters/phds...y the way, what is your job (to the guys that said maonster job)? By the way you talk if your degree doesn't get you at least 100 grand a year then Mommy and daddy sure wasted that cash, huh? Oh, by the way my friend that didn't finish high school is set to make OVER...did you read that, OVER 300 thousand this year with the WWE....Monster education....
-
just wish the guy good luck, guys
-

Yeah, sure they do....maybe on long island, but not the buroughs....My sister in law is in Jericho (one of the highest paid in the country) but that is nothing like nyc. If any NYC (not long island) teachers are on here please tell us what you make and how long you been at your job. I can and will get the name of the school my friend is VP of in Brooklyn.
-
Mike should have no problem rounding up bad guys. Size wise, who's gonna fvck with that monster. Now that would be a better show than The Dog.

Looks like he's wearing the same T-Shirt in that photo as he is in the promo shot.
Monster "no spare T-Shirt"!

In Florida, teachers currently top out at 49,000 with THIRTY years' experience. How insane is that? You do anything for 30 years, and you still can't hit 50k? Madness.

Boy that masters degree really paid off for them...how many room mates do you think they need to live in a two bedroom. Hope their moms and dads had throw away cash for the education that is sooo valued....
-
You're not allowed to wear jeans in the gym, Mike. I hear it tears the upholstery on the equipment...
-
how about something positive?...mike...good luck with your new job...by the way...you are an awesome bb and an inspiration to many :)

He is a great inspiration. One of the 1st articles I read in my 1st Muscle and Fitness Mag was his calf training sessions wearing some huge 80's shades. I worked a booth for Prolab nearby at The Bodyrock show one year and I wanted to get a photo of his sick calves. He began to shake it out to flex and it looked like a softball in a sock shaking back and forth before he tensed up, revealing this 2 inch cliff with vascularity pouring all over. I was AMAZED! He said the only time he trained 'em was for an article. He'd ask the photographer what set/ rep scheme sounded reasonable so he could suggest that in the article. Class act. :)

That can't be right. My gf just started teaching this year and she makes 45 a year.

HMMM, I never thought of that. And if the pics on the site are of the training room in the back of the bail bonds shop, thats not too bad. All of those guys used to train at Golds/Powerhouse in Modesto. Good guys.

Where in Florida does your wife work? My wife has a credits toward aPHD, a masters, taught at adelphi un as an adjunct and FAU in Boca and got 36-44 thousand at a Palm beach county elementary school. First year teachers do not make 46 thousand in Florida, no way.

My gf is in Hillsborough county, i just talked to her, she makes 42k. She has a masters degree. I just wanted to point out I know that the teachers don't top out at 49k a year. Thats totally wrong. 42k isn't a shitload of money, but she works from 7-1:30 and you get the summers off. Doesn't seem too bad to me.

Yes, time wise it is a good job, but not when considering the amount of years it took to earn that masters and the fact that she probably has to take on extra work in the summer to make ends meet if she is living alone. That pay scale is much better than Palm Beach county, which is one of the wealthiest counties in Florida if not the wealthiest, so she's doing ok. At least she's doing better than a friend of mine that is a teacher in one of the most dangerous city's in Ny, the bronx, and makes 36 thousand after a couple years...some job, huh, you need a armed security guy to walk you to your car at night, hahaha...stay in school.
-
it's 31k starter pay in lee county with just a bachelors.
-

Who is it? He must be a decent name to 300 at the E...

Weird. ??? He guest posed at a couple of local/state shows I did in late 90's and was really cool...

sorry, but I wouldn't disclose anyone personal business. By the way, I was a WWE contracted wrestler in the developmental system. I know lots of wrestlers in similar positions and call a few my friends.

Knny...40-50 k in san diego gets you a two bedroom apartment if your lucky enough to find a good room mate or if you have a two family income, not much more after regular expenses, is that correct?

keep planning or dreaming about that 300k doctor job....unless that plan inculdes being a specialist, very well known orth, or a good cosmetic surgeon 300k is gonna be hard to come by. Oh, make sure to include enormous insurance cost and get lots and lots of ephedra to keep you up for days at a time with minimal sleep....Great job about 20 years ago, today, ahh, just good unless your one of the few i mentioned. true?

The best thing is to simply find a good field and be your own boss and hope it works out. It's funny how this guy above says, "fools, educatuion pays off if you use it right"...because we are in a discussion about SCHOOL TEACHERS...which should be one of the most respected people in the country...after all they are who taught YOU....did you ever think of that? hahahaha, moron.
-

All those pics are from AJ`s "gym", he has a sweet set up back there. BBspy, you look huge in that pic my brother !

I've met self made millionaires and NONE of them were doctors or lawyers. They spend that shit as quick as they get it or quicker. There's a book called The Millionaire next Door. Great read if you want some insight.
And I still think Mattarazzo was teh man ;D

eh, I used to be a teacher. They don't produce a lot, for the time they spend. Lots of downtime. Some of the laziest people I've ever seen in my life were teachers.

Thats correct....but depends....you can get a condo making 40-50k & living in San Diego County....just not down town San Diego. Right now Condo's in Downtown SD is in the 450k-550k range.

Well she only has a 1 year masters so it didn't take that long. Its a good job for a woman who gonna marry a guy who makes at least decent money becasuse of the time off when you have kids. I actually live in Palm Beach county (West Boca) She was gonna move down here, but teach inBroward becasue they pay better. If you get into teaching for the money, you'll be surely dissappointed.

Hey fellas,
This thread is about Mike Mattarazzo, not about how much fucking school teachers make per year.

Meltdown. Sorry dude.

I think Mike's happy to be alive...the fact he wants nothing to do with bodybuilding surprises me. Bodybuilding didn't hurt Mike...

Monster career path.
Just goes to show you even top level bodybuilders are zeros away from bodybuilding.

Yeah , right. Keep dreaming. The HMO's will be telling you what to do and how much you make. It also takes a long time to build up a decent private practice.

-
The Worm, since you brought it up can you tell me what state you plan on practicing in and what field of medicine? I'll let ya know how easy that 300 grand a year, after your practicing cost will be to make.
