Now I've seen ALOT on Getbig...in my short 'career' here on illustrious forum...I've thought I seen it all.
Now...Mr. Dante from 'DoggCrapp' fame is a man who from time to time comes on and chimes in on whatever subject catches his eye. It has been historically proven...that when his FEELINGS get hurt, he will call or PM Ron Himself and demand reprimand or for Ron Himself to delete threads and send a warning to whoever hurt his feelings. I know...got a couple of them in my day.
Now...a thread started about young Steve K singing with Muscletech. Keep in mind...TheBlockHead never...ever bashed young Steve for singing and even admitted...for a nice monthly check, supps, and being paid to hang out at major expos and shows..bitch pleeeease. I'd sign that contract in a minute. I'd swallow my 'pride' and push my ill feelings towards that company toward the side and I'd be the one standing in front of a GNC slinging their products out and talking each and ALL newbs in to buying their products. I would 'whore it up' for MT for that. I would. Absolutley.
So...'troponin' and I were really talking straight...going back and forth. DANTE jumps in and...and starts calling me a 'wigger' and bashing my humor of speaking in 'jive' or 'ghetto' as you all know I do for fun and laughs. So as TheBlockHead pushes Dante off and tells him like it is...Dante's feelings get hurt and what he does...he posts an unflattering picture of me, pale...untrained for 10 weeks, off gear, hungover and off guard.
That's no problem. I don't care but what disturbs me is this...that pic was from a website that I never really talk about in here. It is under his impression that I work for Chicagoland based company...PRIDE NUTRITION. Now my ONLY affiliation w/ Pride Nutrition is that I moderate their forums on their website. www.pridenutrition.com and I am good friends with the owners. I am in no way, shape or form an employee of that company. They will tell you that. I'm just their forum moderator. Oh...in the gym I occasionally wear a Pride Nutrition t-shirt that...uh oh...I got for free from them.
It is very apparent and clear that Dante went out ofhis way...studied and studied and researched me and sent out e-mails and made phone calls and read and deciphered my post(s) and translated any encryption I may have made tolink me to Pride Nutrition's website. Even my closest ally's on this forum(240, sarcasm, The Squad, davidpaul, BASTelli, alexxx, nycbull, figgs, corinth, SpecialEd...and even...danielson now...) even they don't know I post there or have anything to do with that company. I keep it seperated. On Pride...I'm my real self. On here it's the wild west.
Dante even went as far as to call me by my real name..which is Shane. A few members of this board knows that. How did he find out? I think he studies my posts over there because I may have publically said my real name there. It is beyond a shadow of a doubt that Dante...has 'something' for me. I dont know what...but it's scary.
I do salute Dante on his class for not wanting to mention the company...that's good buisness. The funny thing is...on Pride Nutrition's forums...I talk about DC training in a positive way and even go back and forth with a DC advocate by the name of Chris Genkinger. I even talk openly about a little DC expierementing and somewhat give attention to Dante and his theories. He failed to recognize that. He also failed to see it is NOT Steve K I dismissed...but the company MuscleT who will use Steve to STEAL the money of the the demographics of 16-21yr old 'trainers'. On Getbig...I am an advocate of not letting industry injustice go unnoticed.

In 2002...a crazy girl I dated briefly and DUMPED hit me with an 'Order of Protection' for no reason except anger and rejection and well...she was fkn NUTS! I was stalked...everywhere I went, everyone I spoke to, whatever I did...this girl KNEW. Just like that Sting song. There is NOTHINg that terrifies me more...than a STALKER and OBSESSIVE. I been through that...it's scary and NOTHING to take lightly. When I found out how much Dante did his research on me...it brought me back 4 year ago when I came out of my buddys house 40 miles away from Chicago and seen this crazy girl screech away from being parked across the street. GeezLouise!

I like Dante. I won't act like I don't but I have a question. What threads has he had deleted or contacted Ron about. I honestly don't know and I'm on this site everyday. Maybe I just don't see it or don't pay attention. I've never had a run in with "The Blockhead" so I'm not taking sides I just don't know.

I like dante, he was very nice to me when I had questions regarding non bodybuilding issues..and has helped ralph out tremendously..I'm surprised someone would think of him as a stalker but to each his own I guess

I did witness that thread, it was back in September, Blockhead had confronted DoggCrapp out on something and was owning him pretty bad and all of sudden it disappeared. The thread was up all day and DC was getting a lot of guy love but as soon as he got pwned by the Blockhead it disappeared. I was subsequently banned for complaining about the thread being unfairly moved by Hedgehog.

It is reasoned beyond a shadow of a doubt that he called, e-mailed or Pm'd Ron Himself and gave him a sob story about hurt feelings and Ron Himself, always a true patriot who tries to keep everyone happy...had to make a choice. Hmmm...the idiots on his forum...or his political standing in this industry. It was clear.

Ron has a pretty big rule about posting personal information. The one who posts it goes to time out. It's been done to me before, as well as others. This is one of Ron's Big Two rules here. I just skimmed the other thread. Did Block post his own info, or did someoen else post his real name, position, and pic? monster rule break if so.

Regardless this is useless, if I misinterpreted your posts on that thread as a hatred for a supplement company instead of not wishing well on Steve then I apoligize. (I do think you could of worded things in a context that removed Steve totally if you have a problem with Muscletech.) With that apology I will also say sorry for posting that info from the email I recieved last nite. I let my temper of thinking "man he is in the same industry and he is putting Steve down?!" over rule my reasoning that you might not like Muscletech.

It's not a huge deal, it just got outta hand last year with people posting names, then addresses, then wives' work email addresses with hot tub shennaghan stories lol... it escalates quickly. Personally, once I got outed, I started doing a ton of business. Wasn't the worst thing that could happen!

Very well. I respect your class for not mentioning PRIDE NUTRITION originally as they have nothing to do with anything. Whoever 'emailed' you obviously knows thing#1 about me because 'this person' would have known my affiliation w/ PN.
Like you said before...if someone hates you or has a distaste for you in these cirlces...it's because you have arrived. MT has arrived obviously and I am probably generating more publicity for them.

I still may contact troponin as I do study and resarch is writing and website and I do frequent your website from time to time and apply some of your theories a little bit. I talk and consult a little bit with Chris G about DC and how to apply it and theories and encourage him to outline his whole DC routine he is using to prep for an upcomming show here in Chicagoland because I am fascinated by DC and its testimonies. Just last night...jut last night I applied a little bit of YOUR theories as i trained chest. This is kind of what I did...
Incline Barbell: 135x10* 185x10* 235x10, 285x8, 320x6.
Hammer Incline: 2 plates a side for 15* 3 plates and 25 a side for 11 reps for my first set and my final was 4 plates and a 10 and a 5 a side 6 on my own with 3 gentle 'finger tap' spot for 3 more then I set it down and counted to 20 then did 3 more...set it down counted to 20 again and did 3 more...set it down counted this time to 15 and did 2 more then I was DONE.
I finished off with a quick warmup set with a 70lb dumbbell for cross bench pullovers and 1 set with a 105lb dumbbel for 16 reps...utter failure I almost dropped it.
Get the facts straight next time, Mr.Dante.

That was taken last April. I didn't win my class...there were 13 guys in my class(heavy) and I took 7th. I was disappointed but I know I need to be better conditioned for my next outing and that's a bad angle but it isn't too hard to see that my arms are my weakpoint. Genetics. I have the same arms as Yates....good triceps, shitty horrible biceps and decent forearms.
I was 220 there...I came down from a bodyweight of 266lbs. I fked up...I shouldn't have done that show and waited a month to do a different one. I was 3-4 weeks out at that show in my opinion. I should have come in around 210-214.
Next time, Gadget...next time!
I'm seriously considering working with a 'guru'. Yesterday I stated I would be happy to pay 'troponin' to give me guidance. I was also consulting with a buddy of mine who is a pupil of Dante who has an amazing freaky physique and is a HUGE DC advocate...and then Dante came on and tried to 'out' me and start shit when all along...I'm a fan and quasi advocate of his theories.

TheBlockHead has one affiliation with them...that's their forums on their website because I moderate them.

Dante could have got me in trouble if I were an employee of Pride Nutrition. What kind of buisnessman is he? I give him credit for not naming the company...per say, but he threw a BlockHead under a bus. This is Getbig...as dirty as we get here we keep real and keep it fair. The LAST thing I would do when I was feuding with danielson is spent time and energy and research to find 'something' on him...personal to use as a gauntlet.
240 mentioned that in the past...people who melted so bad have gone great lengths to try to 'get revenge' by posting addresses, phone numbers, work numbers, wife's e-mail info etc...
Dante falls in this category.

I still may contact troponin as I do study and resarch is writing and website and I do frequent your website from time to time and apply some of your theories a little bit. I talk and consult a little bit with Chris G about DC and how to apply it and theories and encourage him to outline his whole DC routine he is using to prep for an upcomming show here in Chicagoland because I am fascinated by DC and its testimonies. Just last night...jut last night I applied a little bit of YOUR theories as i trained chest. This is kind of what I did...
Incline Barbell: 135x10* 185x10* 235x10, 285x8, 320x6.
Hammer Incline: 2 plates a side for 15* 3 plates and 25 a side for 11 reps for my first set and my final was 4 plates and a 10 and a 5 a side 6 on my own with 3 gentle 'finger tap' spot for 3 more then I set it down and counted to 20 then did 3 more...set it down counted to 20 again and did 3 more...set it down counted this time to 15 and did 2 more then I was DONE.
I finished off with a quick warmup set with a 70lb dumbbell for cross bench pullovers and 1 set with a 105lb dumbbel for 16 reps...utter failure I almost dropped it.
Get the facts straight next time, Mr.Dante.
not to sound like a know it all but......that workout is very far removed from anything representing DC training although you did get the rest-pause right. If you wanna PM me I can help ya out, or I can do it here. I'm not an expert but I know the program pretty well as far as workouts go. I'm not a prep guy so I can't help you there. Let me know if you have any questions.

with what you have and assuming you're just playing around I can say to try this. Calfs: I find that movements where the leg is extended work best with DC, I didn't feel like I was getting alot out of seated movements. The way to do DC calves is to pick a "heavy weight", that might take awhile to figure out because your gonna be doing calves different than you probably have ever done them before. start in the stretched position, hold for 15 seconds and explode up then a nice slow decent, should shoot for 5 seconds and then hold again for 15 seconds. I work out alone so what I do is make 2 fists and each time I explode up I pop another finger up, you'er doing alot of counting so it's easy to loose track of your reps count. I count 1 one thousand, two one thousand etc. Once you get it down and figure out what is heavy for you doing these try to add weight evertime or add reps. Usually your calves are on fire by the 10th rep but try for at least 12. REmember you've got to go for a very deep stretch.
Even if I change my views on DC training and drop it in the future I'll say that this si the most effective calf training routine I've ever done.
Thighs: I'd use the legpress, I can't squat cause of lower back isssues. The way DC guys tend to do legs is to do one "very heavy set" of 4-6 reps and then do a "widowmaker" of 20 reps using a weight that will be very hard to get 20 reps with. Again remember you're going to have to keep bumping up the weight every workout.
next workout you might squat for your heavy set of 4-6 but your widowmaker will be the same as it was for your first workout jsut a little heavier.
Hams, 1 Rest-paused set as heavy as you can for 12-15 reps. I like doing "sumo" leg presses. Legs high and wide on the LP platform....these are kinda hard to describe.
follow quad and hamstring movements with stretching done in the "extreme" way...I can give you a link that describes them. Remember when you train DC you're putting the emphasis on not overtraining so you're only doing 1 movement per bodypart but you're trying to bury yourself doing it. I got to the point in my last blast where I had actually "outgrown" some of the machine's in my gym cause I was constantly adding weight. Goodbye hammer row machine, I knew you well.
That's what I'd do in a nutshell, if I was just testing the waters. there's a ton of things to the program but if you do what I said and really go for broke it'll be a fun workout.

Shane yesterday I tried to fan the flames here but I guess you see it as a way for you to make a name for yourself so you want to keep going with this....so be it. By my view of things you pretty much had the galactic meltdown of the century here. Come to ELSTON tonite. That's more hardcore of any of the Arlington gyms. That's the one EXPORT that allows chalk and ammonia sticks and real serious dirty training. They call it the 'ghetto gym' but I say it has 'flava' and character.

good. its a good routine. It's fun. I'm not delusional with everything that's come up in my life for the last few years I really have lost the desire to compete. I actually talked to troop about some diet stuff a few months ago as I planned on doing the natural michigan but I've had some personal issues come up and it made me realize that competing just isn't right at this time. Maybe it will be in the future maybe not....if I do it I'm not gonna half ass it, I'm gonna do it right. I'll probably use this routine for the rest of my life, I don't see how getting stronger is a bad thing.
