There MAY be a link between prostate cancer and chondroitin.  Many prostate cancer patients have been found to have elevated chondroitin levels.  Is there a link to supplemental chondroitin?  Science does not know yet; they're looking into it.  Right now, some of the medical community is suggesting to avoid it in men.

Glucosamine is good and it does help, its not a wonder drug or anything but the thing is you have to take it religously for a good 2-3 months straight to start seeing and feeling a difference.
