In the gym today, I was walking towards the treadies to get some indoor mileage in.
Noticed about 4 treadies down a guy power walking on the treadie while doing 25lb alternate dumbell curls in sync. ??? ??? ???
This is not a joke! This guy was for real with his sh*t like he was on to the latest trend or something. WTF is going on in america's gyms of today? Why are people inventing their own sh*t on the fly?
What will we have next, stiff legged deadlifts on the elliptical trainer?
I'm sorry, I just had to get that out.
Carry on please!

I guess I have to spell it out.
It's called using the equipment for what it was designed for. It's the same as the clown I saw last week who was standing on the seat of the shoulder press machine doing SHRUGS. Yes it's an exercise, and yes people do shrugs, BUT standing on the seat of the shoulder press machine looking like an a$$ to get your shrugs in is a violation of gym ethics in my book.
I'd like to see that guy try to explain how he destroyed the equipment or have the dumbells (that belong in the weightlifting area of the gym) land on someone's foot...let alone harm himself while on a treadmill.
Hope this helps clear things up a bit.
I guess I'll go ahead and start WALKING MY DOGS on the treadmills at my gym since it's no difference I guess.

True. Judging by that guy's post I think he is already a moron. So no harm done. Curling on a treadmill ::)

The 3's are neon green in my gym, purple/pink for 2's and blue for the humongous 4's. I often wonder why they even make them, just tell the bitches to lift some fucking weights.
